Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI received a text from a from U-Haul stating that they were in short supply of trailers in Omaha and they would offer compensation in the form of credit, free miles, and an extra day. After confirming the trailer would be hooked up it was not. I arrived at 9 PM 9/24 and had to be on the call to figure it out for 35 minutes. The issue was the trailer was not hooked up so I couldn’t not check in. I’ve used U-Haul many times. But after 2 confirmations the trailer was hooked up when it wasn’t is disappointing. Also, after we unloaded the truck we discovered the inside was leaking rainwater inside. I hope this is resolved or an explanation is given to a valued customer. Thank you for your time. The lady I spoke to on the last night was so helpful and kind. That was my only positive experience after spending almost $350
BRADY HI picked up the truck drove it to my home to load noticed fuel odor crawled underneath hole in fuel tank that attempted to be plugged and was leaking. It was a disaster. I then was informed I could pick up another truck in Creston, Iowa, and they would be ready for me. I got there. They had knew nothing about it that I was switching trucks. Then I bring the truck back after I was done to the Creston location. Tried to check the truck yet. It wouldn’t let me and they told me I had to take the truck to Lamoni where I originally booked the rental no one informed me of this then when I check in, they charge me for extra mileage and fuel wasn’t adequately at the right level. I have no issue paying for a rental and the required fee fees, but when I get rented a vehicle that is unsafe and in my opinion, dangerously unsafe, I don’t feel I should be subject to pay in full. I was informed I would be receiving an email as I requested a refund. To my knowledge that Email has not yet come. I have rented U-Haul a number of times over the past few years and have never had an issue. This time was a completely different story and frankly it was awful.

julie wNo one was at the shop took 25 minutes to confirm and give instructions as to where equipment was located then when I called her back to tell her there weren’t any tie downs she was very unhelpful so I had to go buy some to use the hauler when I was told as long as my wheels weren’t oversized I wouldn’t have ever supply my own when I made the reservation
