We originally had booked the Hooksett Rd., Manchester,NH location down the street and 1 or 2 days before, they changed it to Londonderry, that was not convenient for me. got there and checked the trailer out to find a burnt out light. had to lube the rollers of the door as they were so bad.Basically, the main complaint was the change in pick up location. it sucked!

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI specifically rented so that I would pick it up when the rental facility was open. I waited until 9 a.m. because the location opened at 9 a.m. I showed up and it was closed. I waited for half an hour and it was still closed. I called the number and was told they were open. They weren't. I was told I should receive an inconvenience fee. I was transferred to "scheduling" where the guy was a complete jerk. He said the pick up place was not Uhaul so Uhaul had no responsibility for not being open. I am an attorney and know that Uhaul does have responsibility for the location that they allow to provide Uhaul trucks for the company. Almost an hour later I got a lock box combination and got the truck. I had hired men to help me with the move and had to pay them for the wasted extra time. I rented the truck on Uhaul's website and will never recommend the company to anyone unless you make this right.
Kevin BWhen I booked I needed a one way 15 foot truck with pickup in Plaistow NH and was called the day before and was given a 10 foot truck and had to pick up in a different city in Derry NH and was an inconvenience. With the 10 foot truck I could not fit all my stuff in it and had to pay for another month of $92.00 for the storage locker. I will never use U-Haul again not only cost me over a $140 dollars for the truck but also cost me an extra $92.00 waste of money and will let other people know if you book with U-Haul they will change your reservation when ever they feel like it. I would go with other companies first before using them again. Not worth the money it cost me.
