I don't post this lightly as I've never had an issue with this U-Haul location before. But today I got the worst possible service at the worst possible time. I booked a truck online with an appliance dolly to move a stove, refrigerator, and deep freezer. Got to U-Haul, no appliance dolly available. Using an appliance dolly was the entire reason for the rental. They found one 4 miles away and said it was at the Washington and Hoover Blvd. Get in the rental truck, it's a hairs breadth off empty Went back inside to have them update the contract. Drive to the intersection of Washington and Hoover -- no U-Haul location. I pull over and search for it on my phone -- it's on a residential street a block away. Get there - no parking. I double-park in the lot. I go inside, get in line and fill-out a new contract for the appliance dolly. Get back to the truck, I'm blocked in. Finally get out the parking lot and get gas because the warning message comes on. I was over an hour late for the job and couldn't take the deep freezer to it's assigned location, which in turn caused me to be late getting my bedridden mom ready to be picked-up by City Ride. I'll say this, though: This extremely poor review is no reflection on the counter ladies that helped me at both locations. They were very polite, especially the one at the "Washington and Hoover Blvd" location.

The location and staff are great, however; my truck didn't have a dolly. I was told it did. I ended up spending more on my dolly then the U-Haul rental. When I called, I didn't get the local office, which was more frustrating.

I know you won't change this, but I hated the fact y'all charged me $29 for fuel. I know y'all will never change that because it is y'alls cash cow, but it upset me so much, I will be researching much more next time I move so I never have to use your services again. The people at the location were very nice and knowledgeable.

Making sure you give customers the right time ask for because I was over charge I ask for a 12hour window to return the Dolly to tow and I got over charge because the worker only put 6 hours

When I rented previously, I had odometer issues requiring me to print up a Google map with my route and the mileage driven on it to get a correct mileage charge. Don't do that. It's tacky.

Some of the representatives are VERY RUDE and UNHELPFUL. David Sheppard was very nice! Hopefully I won’t have any other bad experiences with employees. This was my first time ever getting a uhaul and the transaction was not as smooth as it needed to be
