I was scheduled to pickup and return the truck at the LaGrange location. About 3 hours prior, I received a text message telling me to pickup the truck on Collins Lane in Louisville. I could not change my plans, so I had no choice but to do so. This cost me and extra 30 miles at 89 cents and an extra an extra 3 gallons of gas at 3 $+. I don't fell I should have to pay for that extra cost, but I was told "to bad, so sorry".RICHARD B.

My reservation was not ready and corporate would not release the truck. I sat for three hours waiting for the truck. The folks at this location worked for 2 1/2 hours to try and get my truck.TED B.
We rented a 15ft truck and appliance dolly to move a refrigerator and large pieces of furniture online. When we arrived the truck was there but no dolly. We had people waiting to help with the move so cancelling was not an option. The only solution we were offered was to take the truck (which had $154k miles on it and worn out handling compared to all other trucks we have rented- hard to keep it on the road) and drive 10 miles out of the way on small backroads to another location to pick up a dolly. This added an hour to our scheduled move time and also cost us an extra hour of pay to our hired helpers. When I nicely asked at both UHaul locations for any discount or compensation for the glaring inconvenience I was told nothing could be done. We have used this location before and had no issues but the fact that no one called after I made my reservation online to tell me that a dolly would not be available so that we could make other plans before moving day is unacceptable. I would love to be contacted by management to discuss and will be following up with corporate also.TIMOTHY W.
I did mobile pick up. My truck was not labeled correctly according to the app, and not available. The in store person seemed to not care at all. Come to find out the truck hadn't been pulled through the gates as it should have abs your rep didn't seem to care. You should update your app to match the truck number location and find better help. This location was great. The other location that I reserved a van for the day before (Chamberlain Lane) was horrible. They did not leave the key for the vehicle that I reserved and no one would answer the phone to help me. This caused confusion when I tried to get the vehicle reserved the next day. I was billed twice, once for each day even though the first day I was unable to use the vehicle as I had no key.THOMAS T.

I was very frustrated with my pick up experience. I used the online pick up option through the app and had to go inside to pick up the key. I had come 10 minutes early like suggested, when I went inside there was a line, 1 person at the counter, the app said the skip the line. Well when I asked for assistance the clerk was unhelpful and I got a lot of attitude for doing exactly what I was being told to do. Had I waited, I would have eaten into more than half an hour into my time.Emily B.
HORRIBLE. the man asked for my name and didn't even listen. Was trying to look at another reservation. I had to repeat my phone number over 7 times. It took an hour for the check in to even happen because the man kept messing up. Then he gave us the wrong truck. Eventually we got the right truck but the other things I ordered such as an appliance dolly and furniture pads were not inside the truck like he said. Just a horrible experience.Chelsea C.

The only issue with the location are semi trucks that line up to get into the distribution warehouses. That is a big problem if you are trying to return a truck.Carol M.

The off-hours checkin was a bit cumbersome. It was dark and it asked for several pictures. I did my best to take them to satisfy the requirements. It asked if I thought it was clean, and I had a hard time quantifying what would be deemed "clean". I also had hoped to reserve the van from the Prospect location (which is closer to my house). I was surprised that my rental was moved to this location which was a 20 minute drive for me. While a decent establishment, I would have preferred one closer to me (and the fact that I saw the same van at that location when I drove by to pick up and return the van was a bit frustrating)Joanne S.

I needed a tow dolly but this location did not have any. I was sent to Turf Runners in Louisville and the owner was very rude and unhelpful to me. I had to attach the dolly myself. I'm a small woman and struggled with the weight of the dolly. Then, he refused to help me load my car onto the dolly and told me that I had to go elsewhere to load the car. This guy was did not represent the U-Haul that I have known.Covie M.

Although the â€œdrop off â€œ truck procedure was explained â€”myself being the not so â€œ techâ€ friendly girl â€” I did have difficulty checking back in I didn't know that my location service had to be turned on in settings in order for your check in process to work properly I'm being that I Finished and drop the truck back off at midnight it was not easy figuring out how to do that on my phone so heads up on that â€” for future customers would be Nice. However I'm really reaching to give improvement feedback â€” From the time I first called and spoke with Gayla â€” Regarding my needs and securing the truck and the storage unit I had absolutely wonderful service and attention from both Gayla and LaylaJennifer M.
My card was charged twice 2 different amounts even after I was assured 1st accidental payment was reversed but more money actually came out of my account on 1/20/21 the day after uhaul was returned bank is taking long to resolve had to file a dispute called the uhaul branch back still unresolvedAlvenia W.
