I originally booked on-line but when I when into the store they couldn't pull up the booking information. They created a new order as a walk in customer. I wanted the smallest u-Haul they had with a dolly. The price on the U-haul for in-town was $19.95 plus fees. They wrote up the u-haul, the dolly, and also charged me for furniture pads that I didn't wan't. They didn't say anything about mileage. I drove a total of aroune 30 miles and the total bill came out to be almost $100. I think this is very misleading as it insinuates in-town to be if you pick up and drop off at the same location the bill shoild be $19.95 plus resonable fees, etc. The per mile charge should be noted up front and it wasn't. I think this is unfair.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisNot only did they have no one on site who knew anything about the trailers, but they had no one to help us 2 women in our 70s hook it up. We had to pay someone who the person on site said would help us. He couldn't, then he found someone, who ended up not locking it down and it came off while loading the trailer. But the Uhaul person said was good to go. Plus, the electrical cord had been cut and shortened and we found out after we were way down the road that when making a true right turn, it came unplugged! I would not recommend this location or UHaul. I will say that the first location had great people, but the trailer wheels and tires did not look road worthy, so we had to switch to Rapido, sadly.
