The equipment was filthy. They tried to charge us almost double the amount we reserved the equipment for and had it not been for the fact that I had taken screenshots of the confirmation when I received it, we would have been charged the higher amount. That put us two hours being our first day. The auto trailer we were given broke down twice during the trip resulting in us sitting hours on the side of Interstate 40. Total down time for that was 3 hours for the first breakdown and 5 hours for the second. We were towed back to U-Haul in Amarillo, TX who swapped out the trailer. That facility was great. Maria was so helpful and we appreciated her professionalism and assistance! Thank goodness we purchased roadside assistance.

When returning trailer was ask to back it back into tight spot I got it out of. I ask to have someone spot me to prevent any damage. Helper washing car right now, you can do it can’t you? Eventually had to unhook and put in spot by hand. Sore back but no damage.😡

JAMES BDistracted agent at time of booking. Trailer was dirty from mulch. You had to unhook and remove the trailer yourself after backing to a vacant space.
