I was charged for an additional day even though the rental truck was returned two days earlier than the rental contract term. Attendant at return location took truck key but refused to provide receipt. U-Haul phone customer service promised a text and email confirmations which were not received until couple weeks later with notice that I was being charged for an additional day of truck rental. This is a scam-like return arrangement. I wouldn't recommend U-Haul!

This is the worst experience I ever had. I ordered a Uhaul from 2269 NE 163rd Street in NMB. I went there and they said they did not have it and sent me to 901 NE 167. They were closed. I called the corporate office and they sent me to the place on NE 15th which is not really a Uhaul place. They just had trucks. The truck was filthy with garbage, and tobacco in the front and empty pizza boxes in the back which I had to clear out. When I returned it at 10 am they said they would take care of things and I noticed they charged me for 2 gallons of gas when I only drove 3 miles. They also clocked me out at 3:15 pm which they charged me an extra day for. Yes you reversed some of these charges but I am still very unsatisfied with your service.
Jack LThe truck had a few issues. The back door cable was broken, flipping around and had sharp filaments which caused me and a friend to cut ourselves. The lach was not working properly either. It was very difficult to get it to close off. The truck was pretty dirty too. They need to keep up with the proper maintenance of the trucks.
Shelem LOne of the worst U-Haul experiences I have ever received, first the truck I reserved still had stuff in it so they had to give me another one. They did not even refund my first hold and just created a second one. The second reservation had insurance which I did not want to add and I was not aware of it until it was time to pay as the employee did everything. We are never returning to that location.
LENET Jthe uhaul rep could be available at the location, delayed my day but it worked out in the end. But it was inconvenient
