Poor signage to indicate location.
Our experience using Uhaul was nightmarish, and their lack of communication caused major issues during my moving process. I reserved a truck ahead of time, and I was told my a representative that it would be ready at a particular location and it wasn't. I ended up having to go to a different location in another state hours later to get it, and it delayed everything. That's not this location's fault, that is the fault of whoever is in charge of scheduling at Uhaul's call center. This is the second time has happened, and I will be doing everything I can to avoid using Uhaul again in the future.
The woman at the checkout just took the keys and said thank you. Didn't go and look at the truck or mileage or anything, which is what I'm used to when I return a U-haul. I said is there anything else? And she said â€œno have a nice day.â€ Then I get charged for $10 worth of gas even though I have before and after pictures of the gas gauge and there was actually more gas in it when I returned it than when I picked it up. The location was dirty, poorly marked and poorly maintained. Guess they really needed that $10 so I hope they put it to some good use. Also, just had an overall awful experience. No one called me to give me pick up or drop off instructions. I had to place multiple calls to u-haul to figure out how to even get and return my truck. The u-haul app never worked and never pulled my order information into it even though I was advised multiple times to give it time to update and I had to do everything by phone with maybe a total of 10 different representatives. Very frustrating and disorganized.
I liked the location, it was close to where I lived, the main problem was using the online pickup and drop off. With the pick up I had to call the location for assistance, the online app was not acting properly so I had to call for assistance. On return it could not determine my location while I was standing in front of the location, I called and was told to drop keys in box and it will be taken care of Monday, my reservation was on a Sunday. On Tuesday I received a bill statement saying I had the vehicle for 2 days. I got a text from Gail to call her to check if the information was correct. I informed Gail that the information was incorrect and sent her a snapshot of the last phone call I made to whoever was taking care of vehicles that day and the ending mileage. Long story short I am currently waiting for funds taken from my banking account to return.
I found some broken glass in the back of the truck Easy enough to sweep up so there was no danger or damage to my belongings
We were not provided the equipment we rented and were charged for it even after calling at the time of the rental and declining the charges. There was no one at the location to talk to and it was at what appeared like an unsafe location. It's a run down building. When we reported not having an appliance dolly or furniture pads, we were told they would be taken off the bill and they obviously were not.
I spent nearly an hour working through multiple glitches on the app and website trying to pick up my rental truck. I even had to rebook the reservation as the original reservation expired because it was taking so long to get through the online process. The truck itself was in poor condition with a driver's side mirror duct taped to the door...I uploaded a picture through the app. It was dangerous driving as the mirror did not hold a fixed position and therefore kept me from seeing other traffic clearly; the truck should never have been rented in this condition. Unfortunately, I had to take it as it was the only one available on a Sunday morning at a closed location that itself is below average. It's been awhile since I last rented a vehicle from UHaul and it'll be awhile again, if ever. UHaul has come a long way downhill.
Late night drop off, so no comments on Operations.
Staff is always helpful at the Morrisville location, and I've never had a problem with the equipment. This time the cab had to be swept out. It worried me most because we were placing beds in there. Has never happened before, and will probably won't happen again.

My first time using mobile checkin and check out. It was a lot of steps but very straightforward to do. Quite pleased overall with the rental process.
Key wasn't in lockbox and although office was supposed to be open, there was no one there to help and office door was locked. I had to call number on door to get someone to show up. The whole process was finally resolved after 75 minutes, just to get a key after jumping through all the hoops on the app. My experience sucked, to say the least. Fix it, numbnuts!

The location was easily accessible. The vehicle was well maintained. The representative was very professional and a tremendous help from her remote location. The no contact process, once clarified, worked reasonably well. Much more needs to be done to help customers understand that process in advance, and I truly hope your web site is incredibly secure given the uploaded information required by you is just begging to let a hacker commit identity theft. Those optional uploads that I objected to in advance were no longer optional once on site. I was very uncomfortable with the process, and didn't fully understand it until I was already there to pick up the truck and had no other choice.
My experience was fine. Because of Covid I had a hard time getting the key because the building was locked but once I got it everything was easy.
The app is very difficult to use and not fully functional, especially as there is a very poor signal at the location. The experience took far too long and was very frustrating.
Trying to login and retrieve vehicle was a hassle.

Very happy with the friendly service.
The staff member didn't go and review the equipment I was renting with me which was a motorcycle trailer nor help me install it on my hitch which was very difficult considering how it was parked in their lot. Nor did the inspect it after I returned it. Poor customer service I won't be using nor recommend this location.
