HMH has a bad attitude about U-Haul; even the owner of the company had nothing good to say about U-Haul. I rented two U-Haul trailers and both of them had a tire blowout which caused me to wait up to 4 hours before I got serviced and was on the road again. Even a U-Haul Serve Rep said on one of the trailers that the tire was good to go after inspecting it. For that, I got $75 refunded for my inconvenience. Then I rented a 26’ truck to find out that the check engine light was on and had to wait a while for the truck to be serviced. Over the weekend I attempted to rent a 20’ truck and again was confronted with another check engine light situation. I complained and was told it just needed to be serviced. I said there was a same truck next to me and was tilde it was already booked. I said I got here first and want it and asks “what if the check engine light is on the truck” and was told I was screwed. I went and got the correct paperwork and got into the other truck and it was awesome! Brand new with only 4,100 miles on it. The tires were excellent; everything was in great condition and it roads very nice and well to my destination 800 miles away. Every U-Haul deserves a well maintained trailer or truck for their rental needs.
