I reserved the vehicle on line 2 days before I needed it. The on line web site was faily straight forward. On the day I picked up the vehicle, I was in and out of the U-haul office very quickly. The customer attendant was very helpful with the check out process. When I returned the vehicle, the service person was very helpful and made the process go smoothly.Jay S.

Entire reason rented truck was to haul a boat. Boat trailer required ball of 2 5/16". Read through all online faq and several searches and could find no details on hitch / ball size of trucks. Only rented trailer info on ball / hitch could be found. Called in uhaul main number twice to ask details and waited 20 mins+ hold both times for a 30 second conversation and both agents assured every truck has "2" ball that can be swapped out and would be fine / easy, and had no real details besides 'yessing me'." The app check in to pick up vehicle virtually at 7am did not work. (It started 'pickup process' before I had left home, and then when couldn't get location, both app & website would not show the green 'pickup' button again. Restarted app, phone, and same result, so technical bug. A line of people 6 people deep moving at snails pace for one register. Woman doing computer check-in clearly hates job Or people or both. Then after got keys was told to stand outside and wait for help. Did that for 20 mins. Nobody outside anywhere and 2 of us waiting as instructed (and was already running an hour late). Walked around entire back. Went and asked again to say nobody was there, and was given snarky attitude. I had keys, paper, and space # and could see the truck directly in front of me. After another 10 mins, somebody finally showed, and said I can just grab truck myself. So zero purpose for waiting around losing a half hour. Drove away. After 5 miles away, realized needed to check ball / hitch. 2" ball was actually welded on and could not be changed. (I had purchased just the ball piece from autozone night before after) Went back to store, and after another 30 mins of trying to get help, older man came from back and was very helpful to get the right hitch / ball setup. Was a very stressful day, and anything that could go wrong did. Uhaul accounted for about 25% of my problems on this day. Overall, better faq / online info and a cell pickup process that worked instead of technical bug and this could have been great. Instead, single threaded process of 1 register, 1 person in back, and an overall slow and inefficient process getting day off to terrible start. This of course is always the experience and what I have come to expect from a uhaul day after 20 years of occasionally needing somethjng, but all the pieces were there that this could have been a breeze.Eugene W.

The location is severely under staffed; have employees in the front store, acknowledge a customer when they enter the store. I felt like a cardboard figure, standing there waiting to be helped. Obviously, a result of understaffing. When the issue was addressed with the so called manager; he simply blew it off. The rental process was smooth, once I got out to pick up the actual rental vehicle. The customer service was substandard.Carlos F.

This was not the originally scheduled pickup...mine was supposed to 11825 collier blvd. Terrible location. Terrible service. Seedy characters trying to get money outside. They didn't have my truck. Had to travel across town to 2001 e tamiami tr. better location but wasted a ton of time. My next rental is for 5725 collier on May 3 (rez#24891755). Will they have my truck? 15'. Or should I just pick up at 2100 tamiami?Sally G.
I have used this site several times. It is very tight providing the very minimum space to hook up and turn around. This trip I was picking up an enclosed 4 X 8 trailer. I was very pleased when hooking up as the trailer appeared very new. As I was pulling away, two other customers flagged me down as the staff person noticed a padlock attached to the door of the trailer as I was pulling away. Isn't the trailer to be checked for cleanliness / damage before it's rented?! Another issue is the lot at this site has wire, screws, batteries and other potentially tire damaging items all over the lot. No, I do not recommend using this dealer.GARY M.
