I arrived on time, but didn’t get my truck until 45 min later. The attendant seemed confused that I was picking it up at one location and dropping it off at another, even though this was expressed on the reservation clearly). As i was leaving, I was stopped and made to switch trucks because they issued me the wrong one. Once I pulled away, the Check Engine light came on immediately. In addition, the woman that checked me out did not mame it that I had a mileage limit of 51 miles or that additional miles would cost me 40 cents a mile (even though I told her I would be putting over 100 miles on it). I would have a hard time recommending Uhaul to anyone.

This location needed much more staff. Each time I was there it was a very long wait. I had to wait in line for about 45 mins to 1 hour just to purchase boxes because we ran out. While, in line there were only two people in front of me and actually an angry mob of 5 or 6 behind me. The desk person kept having to go outside and help plus got distracted talking to customers on the phone. Two other customers behind me actually walked out.

the costumer service was really bad when we turn the uhaul the guy had and actitude to us and rude i didnt like that service i always go to that location to rent my uhauls i wont go there no more and i will tell me friends what happend to me

The wait time was terrible. I waited in line for 30 minutes, and when it was my turn, I found out the truck I reserved was not available. They offered the next size up for the same price. The checkout process took an additional 30 minutes even though I had pre-registered for the express checkout. They told me the express checkout doesn't make checking out any faster. An additional 20 minutes was spent waiting outside for the staff to retrieve the vehicle. They finished in-processing one before retrieving my rental vehicle. I spent just under 1 1/2 hours at this location trying to rent a truck I reserved with their "express checkout". The price is great, but the service at this location is absolutely terrible.

Upon pick up, the team members were stellar, however, when I returned the equipment I was promptly and rudely told to leave the lot with my tractor to make room for other patrons who proceeded to park exactly where I was, causing me to have to walk 1/2 mile to return my truck. Customer service agent was extremely rude and demanding, if not degrading as well.

Ensure a reservation is complete. A week prior to my move, I reserved a hand truck, a dozen blankets and a 20’ft truck for pick up at 10am on a Friday. Since I did not arrive at 10 am they gave away my hand truck and blankets. I received a smaller hand truck with no blankets.

Cynthia and Andy do not possess any people skills whatsoever. I'm not going to go on a rant about the whole experience. Let;s just say I will be renting from Hertz Penske or Home Depot moving forward. This is the worst experience ever at this place where the manager is a super nice guy but those two employees wrecked his weekend, using foul language in front of children, little girls and boys and wives after having traveled all the way from Texas. hope thus is not a reflection on Naples, just these people singularly.

Everything was great the only improvement I would recommend would be to have more staff so it could be more quicker and it will be better.

I needed to rent a motorcycle hauler locally for about 2 hours. It took me longer to check it out and back in. People were lined up and very angry. There was only one person in the office and one person checking in and out the trucks and trailers. The two staff members were polite as they could be under the circumstances and I lay no blame on them. Why in the world at the end of the month (which is Naples busiest weekend of the month) with tourist season in full swing would they only have two people there. After waiting for over an hour and the trailer is hooked up, I was required to spend an additional $15.00 for a plug adaptor that no one bothered to in form me about. I could have driven 6 blocks down the road and got one for a little over $4.00. This is robbery!!! I could have gone to Home Depot and been in and out in about 15-20 minutes and would have cost me $12.00 less. Never ever again!!!!!!

The location is understaffed and did not have the blankets that I reserved. I do not understand why UHaul allows a customer to rent items that will not be available. Had I known that they would not be available then I could have made other provisions to get them. Instead I had to scramble at the last minute and was then late to meet my movers and had a wasted house of their time that I had already paid for. On top of this issue the staff was obviously too busy doing other task, such as filling propane tanks, to service the truck rental customers. After waiting 45 minutes in line for my truck I went through the process of renting at the desk (which didn't take too long... maybe 10 minutes), and was told to wait outside for someone to bring my truck. I then waited outside for another 25 minutes. The worst part was that none of the employees outside even acknowledged that I was waiting or said that they would be with me when they could. Overall this was the worst experience I have had with a UHaul location.

There was only one person on the lot to check in vehicles and one person inside the store. There were a line of trucks and vans to be returned along with people getting trailers/vehicles. I felt sorry for the lot guy...of course we did not get excellent customer service because he was too busy. As a company you know when trucks are expected back so there should be enough people working to keep the lot from getting backed up.

My only complaint is that the turn-in process took way too long just waiting for the lone service provider to handle the load. More staff is needed on a Friday in the afternoon. Especially at this location wehre they are also selling propane gas.

I originally reserved a van at the Old 41 location and upon my arrival was told that it hadn’t been returned. The 41 East location had a truck so the CSR on the phone was able to change my reservation. The attendants at the Old 41 location were of no help whatsoever. At the East 41 location, the parking lot was a mess and the layout of the lot was extremely confusing. There was one attendant on duty and I waited 30 minutes before another attendant appeared to help a customer briefly before taking a call and going into the back office. The wait for an attendant, then to receive the keys, then to receive the vehicle totaled over an hour, and I had made a reservation in advance. I would like a credit for some of the funds back to my card after this horrendous experience with U Haul my first, and my last.

The Manager was very ruid I asked him if the truck was the same deck height (20’ and 26’) he assured me it was, and it wasn’t, I brought back the truck the same day, asked for reimbursement he’s answer was NO it was my mistake. UHAL never again!!
