Less than enthusiastic personalty at customer service counter. Asked to pickup in mt. Pleasent, utah had to drive 60 to Nephi, Utah to pick up trailer. Location was changed after i ordred trailer rental.

Very poor setup to rent from uhaul. It's in a gas station. When I picked it up, the guy almost felt put out that he needed to help me. I've rented from u-haul a few times. They've always connected the trailer to my pickup truck. This place said it would be $25 if we hook it up. Never came out to check the equipment or my hook-up. Then when I returned it. There was one gas station worker. Told me she didn't know how to return the trailer and that the person that did was out on a tow truck pickup. Didn't offer to help at all or call anyone. We ended up calling uhaul to confirm our drop off. I dropped it off in the exact location I picked it up. This is the worst uhaul rental place. I'd urge everyone to avoid it.
I forgot to fold 2 blankets. Truck was clean. $15 to gold 2 blankets is a rip off
Make sure the truck is at the correct pickup location. I was suppose to pick up the truck at a location about 1 mile from my house. I had to drive over 30 miles to this location.
Kent was awesome and very sympathetic that the Uhaul computer system forced me to drive much further than I had planned. I was very impressed with how he handled the situation and would work with him again.
The paperwork said to call when we got into town. The lady on the phone was not helpful. I had to wait around for a "uhaul person" to help me. When the person arrived at sight he said to drop it off by the other uhaul stuff. I could have done all that without them.
Lady behind the counter stated she did not know anything about how to handle return and the â€œ guyâ€ would handle it later. We retuned the truck at 2pm Friday the 26th. I then got an email with a new bill for an additional $115 charge for â€œ being a day late â€œ and extra miles. The new invoice said I checked it in Saturday at 10:30am. The extra miles were due to the drop off location being 125 miles from where we moved. It was the closest location and I was told at pick up that I would Not be charged. I called the location and left a message but 2 days later still not call back. I will NOT use U haul again!
Train the employee what needs to be done in regards to renting or returning a uhaul rental.

When I returned the equipment between 5 and 5:30 pm, neither of the 2 store clerks were familiar with any U-haul check-in procedures, what paperwork was needed, what receipts I needed, or the like.
The clerk working in the store and the uhaul rental guy, were both beyond rude. When I got to the store and requested a dolly, the store clerk complained that she would have to log onto uhaul.com and that she didn't have time. I asked for a trailer instead and the clerk said the Uhaul guy was at lunch and couldn't help me. I asked if she could call him and the clerk said he doesn't do anything on lunch which was fine, I understand that. It was how rude she was in delivering this news that I had an issue with. I waited 15 minutes and went back to the counter to ask if the guy was back yet and all the clerk did was shrug her shoulder and point to the side...I had to assume she meant the guy standing behind her. In speaking to the uhaul guy, his questions about the rental and my information was unspecific and when I asked what he meant, he rolled his eyes before repeating his question. After getting the contract I asked which trailer, he said he didn't know, it was either the one in the front lot or the one in the back lot across the parking lot from the store. I work in customer service, I don't believe the customer is always right, but in this case I the customer was right, and the two clerks absolutely need to take a class in customer service or maybe not work in a customer service position. On a positive note, I do like your app to upload pre-trip photos, and the after hours app to return the equipment and photo uploads for return.
They had no blankets like we requested. We had to drive 30 miles out of the way to pick up a closets uhaul.
The equipment was in excellent condition. Had a very positive experience.
Russ, the manager was very good. I'm not had good luck in the past with Uhaul due to Uhauls policies. Very skeptical about using them again, and the experience started out very bad. My reserved truck WAS NOT ready, ended up waiting for several hours only to be told the truck would not be available. I vented to Russ, taking out the frustration on him. He patiently listened, and ultimately worked out a solution for me getting me on my way. RUSS made the experience, not UHaul.

Location's software would not allow my full-size truck to pull a 6x12 trailer. The rental had to be done by customer service. I also noted that of the three available trailers, the other two needed repair.
AM radio did not work, other than that service was fine.
I needed help unloading the car. At first he wanted to call a mecanic, whom I would have to pay, to unload. I refused and said I would rather drive some 50 miles to a U-Haul center and get help there. He finally assisted me unloading the car. The underneath safety chains are almost impossible to use on small cars. He also refused to give me the credit I was promised for turning in the trailer a day early. I had paid for 4 extra days. the actual tow was great.
Trailer was extremely dirty! If I had not of cleaned out the inside, all of my belongings would've had grease and dirt on them.
The truck, although fairly new, did not drive smoothly. Front wheels seemed out of balance, in fact right front was actually an inner rear from a dually setup. The truck was clean. The service I received was very good. Friendly and professional.
