Picked up the Uhaul and the individual helping me went above and beyond. However, they had no blankets, and dollies, which is not his fault. The regional manager Adam sent me to a secondary U-haul location which was particularly unfriendly, stank like a extremely dirty animal, perhaps a dog, and the guy there was unhelpful telling me he would not give me a set of blankets or dolly without renting equipment from him, despite Adam sending me there. His location was 2000 Market Street in Hannibal, Mo. I was then sent to a 3rd location at 9681 MO-168 Hannibal Mo (Vans Appliance and More) who helped me out and was extremely friendly. Upon obtaining the blankets and Dolly, I went to go pack up. On unpacking of the blankets, out came a literal cloud of dust. One of the blankets was caked with dirt and I ended up tossing it to the side. The packages were also short 1 blanket, 11 instead of 12. Luckily, I had enough to get by with the 10 blankets I had left. The U-haul itself was very old and beaten up, but it did have new tires on it, and again with luck, I made it to my destination unscathed. U-haul needs to do better or they will lose market share. There are other options and I will defer to them in the future if need be.
