Unfortunately we did not have a good experience picking up the vehicle last Sunday. Earlier in the week we were offered a discount to use this location, saying it wasn't that much further away. Well, it was a bit further than we would have liked, but that wasn't really the issue. The issue was that it was closed and on the online check-in system didn't work. We were told we would get a phone call and after 10-15 min of no call, and no one at the regional office able to help... and pretty much hung up on me... we called a different number where Tyler was extremely helpful. Honestly if it wasn't for Tyler I would have given the rating a "poor". Tyler noticed right away that something wasn't put in correctly by UHaul and he was able to fix it, which allowed the check-in process to go through the correctly the second time. Then when he gave us the lock box codes, he had to go through 3 of them until we found one with the key... that was a bit frustrating as well. Fortunately everything turned out ok, but the delay really put a kink in our plans and extra frustrations that were not necessary. The rest of the rental was fine, dropping it off was easy. It is unfortunate when an experience begins poorly, because that is what you will carry with you. Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope this will help fix issues for future customers.
