I called this location to reserve the trailer and the young man said the owner was gone and I would have to go online and do it myself.
After I reserved it online I call the same location twice with no answer.
I called U-Haul 800 number to make sure this location would be open to pick up the trailer and the woman on the other end was extremely snotty. Tried to explain that there was no answer to both of my phone calls and she was extremely RUDE!!!
When my husband went to pick it up, there were 3 men in the office, told him it was out on the lot and did not go out or help him lift it and hook it up on the truck.

Not advertise that you have trucks in stock and let people reserve them when you indeed do not have them in stock. Also don't tell your customers that you will get them a trailer if they need it when you won't actually give them a trailer. I had to leave a lot of my stuff behind 2 states away because I couldn't fit it and also I ordered 12 furniture pads and got 5 so some of my furniture got ruined in my trip because I had to cram as much as possible.

The front driver tire was very bald. The lot was full of vehicles and hard to get into. The vehicle wasn't parked where it was supposed to be.

Trailer had low tire which would not keep air. Had to call UHaul to have a replacement tire placed on the trailer the morning of the move before the move could begin. Trailer had been loaded when the low tire was noted.

There were no signs stating where to park. We had to strategically park trailer in only open space between 2 other vehicles and behind another one.

Location looks like it has never been cleaned. Service was polite but a bit on the slow side. It was not a bad experience, but nothing that I'd say was great. That said, I don't think either North Platte location is probably stellar, so it's just about what you might expect.

Arts was great to work with and helped us get in contact with who we needed to in Council Bluffs to rectify the fact that the large truck we reserved a month ago wasn't going to be available when we needed it. The next portion is not directed at Arts in anyway — they were GREAT and quick, but rather the processes of the Uhaul operations in general.
If someone reserves a truck, especially a month in advance, there should be a guarntee THAT size will be available. We ended up having to have family drive 4 hours so we would have enough drivers for our personal vehicles, the 2- trucks and two trailers that were given to us to try to make up for the large truck not being available. Although Uhaul gave us SOMETHING to ensure we could move when needed, it cost us hundreds of extra dollars in fuel and insurance.
