When I showed up at the main U-Haul location in Oak Harbor all cargo vans were taken, but the staff there went out of their way to check availability across their network and sent me to Cliff Williams at One Stop Shop on Ault Field Road. Cliff had exactly what I needed. There was a small mix-up on the return date — the booking showed one day but I needed two. Cliff called me at my hotel to let me know, I explained the situation, and he added the extra day without any fuss. That kind of flexibility and good-faith customer service is rare and genuinely appreciated. The van was comfortable to drive and handled well on the highway. Online billing was straightforward and easy. I used the van to transport artwork for a solo exhibition in Burien — 58 collage pieces across nine storefront windows — and everything arrived safely. Would absolutely rent from Cliff again.

Jess CI didn’t use the hand truck or the pads and they were in the way when I was moving and had to put the hand truck out of the way. Then I got charged for the hand truck because the seal was broken. Wondering if I can get that money back?
