The woman that helped was ok but the woman sitting next to her during my return was very rude and unprofessional. She was rude to a customer on the phone in front of us and made our 11 yr old daughter uncomfortable. The foul language and utter disregard for it being a place of business was disappointing. No we will not come back here ever again.

I originally went to Richmond Uhual on 23rd. The woman at the desk told me to go to a different location than the one listed above. I asked before I left Richmond, if she was sure, given the location was 45 minutes away. Upon arrival the man at the uhual store told us he didn’t have a reservation under my name. We then had to finally go to the uhual at 8000 San Leandro. Overall the booking experience was so unpleasant I would not recommend it. Again, It had nothing to do with the final booking location.

The Assistant manager attitude was unbecoming of a person in management! She was very rude and not friendly! This was the worst experience that I have encountered with an Uhaul employee! She was not helpful, acted as if I was wasting her time! This location has to do better because you all will hurt the Uhaul brand with this type of behavior!

The storage unit we got was pretty far inside the facility which made moving furniture challenging, but overall a good experience and the staff were helpful. The facility was also very clean.

Someone at the Oakland Coliseum site stole my debit card information and gave or sold my info to someone in at least two different states. I have now received more than $600 in fraudulent Uber ride nd Uber eats charges on my card. I have reported these charges to the site, U-Haul corporate, my bank, Uber, and my local police department. I have also left a negative review on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau sites.

I left some screws that are needed to complete a bed set. Can you please check to see if they are there? I sure hop that you have them. The bed cannot be put together without the screws. Please contact me @ 510-472-7288.

Be a bit more helpful--say "hello, how may I help you?" "Have you been helped?" "Is there anything else I can do for you?" Just basic customer service stuff. All services were fine, staff just seemed busy/stressed/unhappy.

I expect the windshield to be clean as well as the splash zones on the sides. The GMC tailgate safety cord was important to me, even though I didn't know it existed. I lowered the gate once and when I tried to close it it flew off but was restrained from hitting the pavement. Turns out there was an 8-inch long piece of rebar trapped between the gate and the bed. I had to hammer it free in order to reinstall the tailgate.

The location is spacious with plenty of parking. I was running late getting there and the staff reached out to me via phone to see if I needed to reschedule. I did end up rescheduling for an hour later. When I arrived, I only waited a few minutes in line. The van had been pulled up to the front and was ready for me as soon as I stepped back outside the customer service center. The van was clean and ran just fine. Upon returning the van, a service individual tended to me as soon as I pulled up, and I was out of there in less in less than 10 minutes, including grabbing my receipt from the customer service center. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience.

I believe I was cheated by the man running the operations the day I used this location. I should have checked myself, but I believe he entered the wrong mileage and my costs doubled. My fault but when I speak to others about a UHaul location, I won't recommend this one and I'll advise they check the paperwork themselves and NOT allow UHaul staff to do so!

Once I was finally able to get a truck I had a great experience. But I hate to say that I had a really bad customer service experience beforehand. I got a call 30 minutes before I was supposed to pick up the truck I reserved saying that they didn’t have the size truck I needed available at that location. I had a whole crew of people helping me move and had to have the truck on that day. The man was unable to help me find another location that did have a truck for me. I called customer service and got through to someone after 15 minutes. She told me she was going to put me on hold and then put me in the back of the que and I had to wait another 15 minutes to get through to the next person. She put me through to another department that wasn’t even open so i had to hang up. During this process I received an email saying I had a truck reserved for me at a location near me. I drove down there and they said they had nothing available and didn’t see my reservation. He gave me another number to call and I finally got through and picked up a truck 30 minutes away. I was so frustrated throughout this but I know it wasn’t the fault of anyone working there. The system needs help though!

I had a "guaranteed" reservation for a 26' truck but when I showed up on moving day they only had a 10' truck available. Absolutely ridiculous. Ended up having to make 3 trips over 2 days as well as have several friends pack their personal vehicles to help. I will never ever use uHaul again and will be telling everyone I know to do the same.

The service I received was excellent. The gentleman that brought the pick up truck around had the heater on making it nice and toasty when I got in. That gesture alone made my day!
