The cab and box of the truck was clean. However, the gas tank was empty. The paperwork showed the fuel level should have been ~3/16 full. The person that was handling the paperwork did not seem to know how to update the paperwork when notified of the problem. The truck ran out of gas on the way to the fuel station and we had to wait over 2 hours for roadside service to arrive. When the roadside serviceman started putting gas in the truck we discovered it was leaking out through a hole in the tank. We were told by U-Haul customer service that packing blankets would be available at this location but that was not the case. We had to drive 5 miles to another location to get this pads.

Natasha RUpon receiving the vehicle the front left tire was quite low of air. The gas tank was on empty. So, I filled up with gas, and had to put 40 pounds of pressure in the front left tire to get the warning light to go off and match the right front tire. After starting our journey my wife was following me and informed me that the lower break lights and turn signal lights were not functioning. Only one break light at the top functioned. This remained true for the whole trip. Every morning we had the vehicle I had to put 30+ pounds of air in the front left tire. It never showed low while I was using it.
