Terrible pickup experience with a huge delay and hassle requiring an I.D. verification from a secondary person. I do not have someone to list for this as I am single and I had to bother someone at night to await a call that never came from uHaul. It took an hour to pick up the vehicle —— a totally unnecessary step that may prevent future rentals. There was zero notice about this. I have rented several times before so my ID should be well verified! Additionally, the vehicle came with 1/8 tank of gas. I have never rented a vehicle with barely any gas in it.

Cynthia WSecond time I have rented the same van. First time had to put air in back tire -this time had to put air in 3 tires and back left tire had to do it twice. I have a very busy schedule when I rent vans and this has taken a chunk out of my time to have to maintain tires. Also the gas cap was dangling and then fell off. I back tracked and found it but should have been fixed before I rented van. I believe you need to have someone double check for maintenance needs more often.
Lisa MAn insufferably complex and convoluted check in procedure with little to no exact information and directions to check out the vehicle. This is the last time we will ever rent this way through U-Haul. It took us at least an hour to complete this. Never again.
