Eric ADrop Off was NOT Archer but Chicos Custom Mufflers LLC · 5002 S Cedar Pecos, TX 79772. Location was closed at 4:30 when we got there. Frustrating part was there was no real way to drop it off after hours. They had the old key return box on a side wall, and a slot for a contract but the contract is now electronic. Tried to do it online but it kept referring me to new rentals, NOT returning current rentals. Called the 1-800 number, they said there was nothing they could do. There was one guy there that said to just drop it off, and their U-Haul lady would process it the next week. It was an open lot so hoped it would be missing by the Monday.
Paul HThe location was very helpful. However I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone. I had to wait 3 hours in a parking lot for a truck. I made a reservation that was moved to 2 different locations. I called customer service and they either had no trucks or trucks were over 200 miles away. I was moving on Thursday and planned accordingly. The lady at Chicos Mufflers helped me by calling the person that had the truck. Customer service with Uhaul is severely lacking. The $50 off reservation if your truck isn’t there was not honored. I will find friends with trucks or leave everything behind before I ever use Uhaul again.
