This location was fine. The clerk was very professional and informative. The truck that I reserved was not available at the original location so I was directed here which had the only truck available within 100 miles. It was not the size I reserved but I had no choice but to take it since I hired moving help at both ends of the move. The original location had no trucks available and personnel told me that people had been turned away for 2 weeks for the same reason. Uhaul is excellent at taking reservations but not so good at providing services that were reserved.

Offer in town mileage packages, the cost adds up so quickly just to make one trip back and forth across town.

Uhaul Storage and Loading at 4921 Mobile Hwy in Pensacola would not accept the return even though they we on the contract and confirmed via telephone prior to the move. Luckily the facility at 4211 Mobile Hwy had 24 hour drop off and we were able to drop it off there. I chose the original location because of the location and the time they closed. If they were not going to receive the drop off, it would have been better for them not to be on the list.

This location gave us the worst trailer that had on the lot even after I told them I had to take the trailer where I was moving to in Central Florida which was a 400 mile trip, lights didn't work on the trailer when you went to leave early morning on our trip, the employee at the pickup location had told me everything was good on the trailer also after got to moving location noticed a screw in the side wall of the tire. I will never rent anything from this location again and will be letting people know not to either. Worst location Uhaul has.

I set up to pick up the uhaul about a month in advance and was told I could check out online and a friend who was more skilled at driving large trucks could pick it up so long as I added him as a driver. I assumed I could put billing information over the online check out but I could not and was not told otherwise when discussing this with staff. When my friend arrived to pick it up on moving day he had to call me to say they needed billing information. So I called to provided that and was routed to a call center when they did not answer. She stated I had to be physically present with the billing information and it could not be handled over the phone, but would tell that store to call me. When they did, in a very timely fashion, he pleasantly took my info over the phone. Possible improvment would be to state when and how billing information works, and ensure all employees are on the same page when trained so that customers receive the same answers the one question. Pitiside of not informing me about the billing process staff at this location were very pleasant to work with, and I would recommend and use them again.

Had came in to return a rental and also get lights worked on trailer,"12" oclock appointment, after he looked at truck and trailer a few minutes he went and helped 2 other customers then told me to get the Fuck out here he wasnt working on lights, same guy that charged me to put a ball on day before and he couldn't even do it I had to get under the truck with uhaul tools in garage, and excuse of an employee, cartoon socks and flip flops to work..

In my case it would have been nice to have been contacted an hour or so prior to my reservation, to let me know that the 15’ truck was not there and the prior customer did not return it on time, instead of me having to find out when I physically arrive. Also after arriving at 12pm to find out I need to wait until 3pm for the truck then returning later to pick up the 15’ truck, I then found out that no one made a reservation for me to have that truck?? I was told by a different worker that they gave it away since they didn’t know I was suppose to have that. The lady then told me all they had was a 10’ moving van... so I took the 10’ moving van even though I had planned for a much bigger vehicle. This made me do two different trips, to and from where I was moving to doubling the mileage and fuel I have to pay for all because someone from uhaul didn’t do their job and actually reserve me that truck. I honestly feel that uhaul failed their promise to me that day and it actually turned my move into a bitter day as not only did it push my schedule back but also everyone who helped me move also had to deal with the major time loss. If i was to move again anytime soon, I don’t think uhaul would be my first or even second choice right now after that fiasco.

The truck I was rented at first was a one way truck then swapped out the truck for a local truck and the local truck transmission was slipping and overdrive was gone in truck burnt a lot more fuel than truck should’ve and the truck just didn’t have any power I really feel that I should have been refunded at least half my rental if not all

The truck was filthy, I drove it 5 miles, realized it wouldn't work for my towing job and returned it. I was still completely charged although it wasn't gone more than 30 minutes.

The only one thing that I have a complaint is that the gas tank was not full. They did explain thoroughly about where the gas gage should be but I would have rather started out with a full tank of gas and filled the van/truck up that way instead of not knowing exactly how much to put in. Otherwise than that, I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Have receiving dealer help not be rude and mouthy . Don't tell customer they can drop rental at any dealer then when customer chooses closest dealer he has used before , help at this location need people skills training ! Tell a customer your not supposed to take unit because you have so many but you'll take it this time doesn't leave a good impression on customer . This is 2nd time I've used this drop off location and 2nd time I've been treated rudely !

This was an alternate pickup location. Our original reservation was for another store but the owners never showed up to open. We appreciate that our reservation was quickly changed after I called for help but we are VERY disappointed in how this inconvenience delayed/messed up our planned trip. While Uhaul customer service was quick to resolve the issue they weren’t concerned with making any attempt to compensate our inconvenience. May have to consider another company the next time we need help moving our items ??
