When I arrived at the location, it was full of out of order slot machines. The man behind the counter told me to call a random phone number - I called and got no answer. This continued for 10 minutes, before we got in touch with the man who informed us he was on the toilet. 10 more minutes later we got him again and he said he was with another customer. 10 more minutes later I was finally able to speak to someone. I had included a number of additional purchases with the rental (e.g., boxes, tape) - none of these were available. The only item the location was able to provide were blankets, which were stored in a pile at the back of a filthy storage container behind the gas station. Everything about the experience was horrible. Critically, the reservation price was not respected, and the price was doubled on the morning of pick-up. This is predatory behavior and if I had more time I would file a class action lawsuit. Truly repulsive business practice.

The guy didn’t speak English, I showed up there at 6 and it said it closes at 7. The guy said a bunch of stuff I didn’t understand and said they were closing but I could still leave the truck there. Overall it was extremely confusing.
STEVEN HI will preface this with the person at this location did not speak the best English. I have no problem with this in general, but it created a LOT of confusion due to our inability to communicate effectively. It is somewhat off-putting when you are giving someone your personal information and answering questions, but do not know why he needs to know the information being given. He was kind enough, but at one point I seriously ask my boyfriend if we should maybe just try somewhere else because we were just not understanding each other. The whole pick up took 15-20 minutes, involved a 3rd person on a speaker phone (I have no idea who he was), and having to physically take the pen from the person there so that he could understand how to spell the name David after 4 times saying the letter ‘D’. Again, I have absolutely NO issue with any person with an accent or whose first language is not English, but this was not a good business transaction at all. The communication was SO confusing, and curt, and awkward that I HIGHLY recommended not choosing this as your first location, OR at least, you should be warned to expect this type of interaction upon arrival. The mystery phone man DID eventually send links to real U-Haul websites to my phone where I could enter in my license and such. And we DID successfully get our 10’ truck that was clean and filled with fuel. So take with this information what you will.
