The gentleman who helped us was more than kind. However, I felt completely unsafe picking up the truck. I am glad I had a family member with me or else I would not have gotten out of my car to retrieve the keys from the lock box. We heard 2 gunshots and witnessed at least one questionable interaction between a couple of people in front of the shops. We were not given any heads up about the location's concerning environment but when we spoke with the UHaul rep when picking up, he made it very clear that this was not a new issue, which makes me even more concerned that nothing had been done to relocate to a safer pickup location prior to this pickup. Overall very displeased with the experience, as I know how excellent UHaul usually is.
