The system wasn't running well. I had difficulty with the app and the wifi of the location. I had to step outside multiple times in order to get signal in order to use the app. When I had to take photos before driving off with the truck, the website would not work to take the photos. I ended up having to run back inside and customer service had to call the manager in order to give me the okay to drive off without taking a photo of the truck. It had taken almost 45 minutes for me to be able to leave with the truck. I do understand that this is a new location for U-Haul, but it had way too many snags along the process. Connor was really friendly and prompt with helping me though. I would come back solely because he took care of me.

Nobody on site knew where to drop the trailer or how to complete the rental transaction. I was told to get online with U-Haul and figure it out. Luckily U-Haul online walked me through the process.
Bradley SWhen I made the reservation it was for 10am pickup at pleasant hill and drop off in independence for a 15ft truck. I got a call 2 days before saying that they could do a 20ft truck pickup in raymore at 11 which is not even close to my reservation. So I called back and you said that I couldn’t do a pick up and drop off but instead i have to drive back to pleasant hill to also drop off which costed more in miles. When I got to water hardware to pickup, no one there knew how to do uhaul rentals, so I had to call uhaul and wait until 11:20ish to get the truck. When I was all done and filled it up with gas to where it was, I was charged 2 gallons of fuel. It wasn’t the cost that make me upset, but the fact I took a photo of the miles and gas before and after returning it to make sure that wouldn’t happen is just disappointing… do better

Jane LTruck not where promised and had to drive to another store. I reserved a dolly. No dollies. And your employees need better training. Terrible experience on an already stressful day.
