We paid $70 for a 2 day rental, then on return was asked for $75 more in cash. Was charged $145 for 2 day rental. This is the second time, at a different location. 1st time we fought the charge, this time too tired to bother. But becoming a theme, the cash request was odd

Originally booked different location, was told I had to go out of town to pick up. Clerk had issues and took 45 min to complete. Never given any paperwork or receipt.

This was a terrible experience. Employee seemed unfamiliar with what to do and system. We waited for 30 min without return being finalized! The e-mail receipt showed we were charged for gas (over $200!) although we had returned with a full tank. We called location and protested , and change was reversed, but this was a very , very frustrating experience. If location is not competent to handle return transactions, it should not be a UHaul location.

I had made a reservations for pick up June 1 for 2 days. I called Saturday June 2 to ask for a day extension. Instead of drop off June 3 we would drop off June 4 which we did. We were charged another 92.00 for one extra day. My husband read the receipts when we got home. How can we get a refund for the extra day that was charged?

Waited far to long. People don't have that kind of time on moving day. I waited 45 minutes to an hour.

Took close to an hour to make reservation Gave no paperwork Overpriced Very disadisfied - will be using other company next time. Lost an hour of move due to employee not knowing how to make a reservation. Would have been faster to go to other city in region. Training highly recommended / needed for this location for both programming and customer service

Quite frustrating actually! was supposed to rent this truck in St Catharines but was then told to pick it up in Beamsville. Then got a call from Port Colborne saying my truck was there. Kilometers were added to compensate but eh trip took and extra hour out of the day and I had to find a drop of person so I could get the truck. The drop off was ok.

The cargo area of the truck was filthy. It was either not swept out by the previous users and/or swept out by the staff at this U-Haul location did not inspect the truck to make sure it was clean.

I rented the unit for a dingle day. When I went to drop it off 13 hours after I picked up I was told the fee would be for two days. I only used trailer for part of one day, yet he charged me for two full days. A credit for the second day was not an option. I think this is unfair and poor business,

I'm74 years young. I had to go and get the dealer to help me get the trailer out of a snow bank before I could attach it to my van. He didn't seem willing to help without being asked. very poor example of customer relations ..

I am more upset with your Hagar St. IN Welland location. They literally gave our truck away right in front of us to someone who had NOT booked the size we prebooked at least a month ahead of time. This meant that we have to drive to another location...20 mins away...and get a smaller truck. which resulted in an extra round trip as we needed 3 loads instead of 2. to top it off..we had to pay to rent wet and moldy blankets to use. This cost us hours of unnecessary time and frustration. I could understand it if someone had just not returned the truck...that would be out of the locations control...but to give someone a larger vehicle that is already booked on that day is insane. And it isn't like we arrived late...we were at the location for 930am in the morning. We did receive a discount but that doesn't make up for the hassle and frustration.
