The truck cargo area was dirty. We had to sweep it out before use. The truck broke down on the expressway to Boston. We were able to restart it without getting rear ended. We proceeded to our destination, unloaded the truck, and on the return trip, on the expressway south bound it broke down twice. It’s s miracle we did not get killed !! We were able to get they truck restarted both times, but not without fear of a bad accident.

I got a big problem with the padlock... cant unload the truck. Padlock won’t unlock. I had to wait till 7am to get my stuff out of the truck. I lost work, had to pay extra money to the movers and i slept on the floor. No happy at all.

I wanted to give this a 1 star as I showed up to the Weymouth location and my trailer wasn’t there and they were going to charge me more for a truck plus mileage. Th n they were going to make me drive a half hour to pick k up an available trailer. Finally Andy stepped up and found a truck 10 minutes away with mileage and rental built into the price. Uhaul gave me back $50 for not having my order ready plus the fair deal on the truck so they made m whole despite not what I originally ordered. Mistakes happen but it’s how you r act to them that is the difference between 1 star and 5 stars.

Horrible experience. Made reservation. Didn't have my truck. They Didn't offer (nor did I know about) the $50 Guarantee. Instead offered truck 2x the size I wanted or needed. More expensive rental, more expensive mileage charge. Only offer I got was 1/2 tank of gas. Will think very seriously about renting from them again. Never had this kind of problem with Budget

The original location at which I had reserved a vehicle did not have one available at the time for which I had reserved it. The change in location cost me additional miles, a cost that I had to bear.

I was charged 18$ extra for not my fault. First they One way trip, a closer location was not set as destination at time I requested booking. Then at the time final contract was created on the day of pickup wrong address was mentioned in the contract as my starting address. I contacted uhaul and they sad I can park to near location but then I was charged for the same. Rest I will rent a uhaul again if needed.

Make sure the trucks have gas and are clean before renting. Make sure you have enough trained staff available for busy times ie. end of the month.

I asked for and paid for a 2 wheeler, but when I got home there was no 2 wheeler. Upon returning the trailer I told the salesman, and he just fluffed it off and said “oh well”. Would it have been ok if I just kept your equipment after the move? How hard would it have been to have given me back my 10 bucks?

customer service is excellent. but a van I rent that may lack of maintenance. oil change warning light was on and warning light for turn signal light bulb burn out was on.
