The process to check out a simple pickup truck is incredibly difficult! If a customer takes the time to validate themselves online prior to the rental, why should it take an additional approximately 30 minutes to redo the same thing at the store. I understand the need to protect the store’s investment but it should not be at the expense of customers who have been there multiple times prior and have proven themselves to be of value and integrity! At this junction, I’ll rent from Lowe’s or Home Depot for my simple home projects moves vs going through this type of interrogative use process!!!

I rented this to move my daughter 104 miles away. Jason misquoted me and charged me the entire " intown " price when I told him where I was going. I found out only when I was finished to drop it off at the Indio location and still had to pay 30.04 extra on top of the 310.21. The charge of 310.21 was from an intown pricing and what I don't get is I told him where I was going AND ontop of that he did not even offer the option to drop it closer to my destination to save a client money. Thats pretty shady. But the important part is I have used Uhaul before and I know I can return the truck anywhere and almost always have dropped at different locations after I am finished. I was so focused on my daughter and I having to move all her things ourselves Jason even offered the furniture dolly which I said I wanted then I found that it wasn't on the truck and did not think of it when I picked it up. Just relied on the person who was selling me the product. Stupid me for not checking. The thing is I want to be reimbursed for Jason and the other guy who checked out the truck because both of them knew the destination was only 104 so they just assumed " oh yeah lets charge this unassuming lady the round intown trip " We put 133 miles on this truck and I would like someone to please call me and so I can get reimbursed for miles I did not use. Thank you Please call and I am still in the process of moving my own things around the house if I do not answer please leave me a voicemail. Thank you. I will probably look for a different moving service for the next move in the very near future. Thank you.

The location was great, however when I scheduled the truck it was for a closer location. So not only did I have to go further to get the truck, it was now unavailable for a 1-way trip like I had originally scheduled. They were going to have to send me to Moreno Valley (20mi) away. Communication was lacking in the whole process, but the gentleman on location was a big help.

Guys inside look thrilled to be working there. First guy was on his phone as I walked up and barely made eye contact with me. When I called to place my reservation I was not told that I would need to give out 3 other numbers besides my own and would not be able to rent the truck if I didn't. And why do I have to give my card number on the phone just to have to give it again when I show up in person so frustrating.

I was overcharged 350 dollars.. It took almost 2 whole hours to finally get in touch with the location. The call center didn’t know anything and couldn’t do anything. I have to wait for my return and I have other bills to pay it’s the beginning of the month !. It is completely inconvenient I am still surprised that this could ever happen . Quite unprofessional. Very dissatisfied.

This location was awesome, and they saved my move when the Corona location did not have my "guaranteed" truck in stock and I had to find another rental at the last minute because no one notified me that I wasn't going to be able to pick up my truck. The people at the Van Buren location were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I had to pay $25 extra mileage to go to their store because the Corona location messed up my rental.

The hank goodness the guy at the place was paying attention. My paperwork showed having rented it that morning. When i brought it back that night, the computer said I had rented it two days before hand. He fixed it quickly and I had no further problems. Fix your computer systems. Why did it change during the day? If he hadn’t fixed it, I would have thought u haul was trying to cheat me.

It took almost an hour to pick up the truck. We were on a time crunch and the store was not adequately staffed for a Saturday. There was nothing that said we could go to the front of the line if we had a reservation.
