I had to change my schedule around because of U-Haul. I originally booked my truck 2 or 3 weeks in advance, and then they called me to tell me I had to pick up at a new location and also drop it off at that location. The home I moved into was 50 minutes away from the uhaul pickup. Driving 50 minutes back to drop off the truck was not ideal and really threw my plans out the window. I don't know why I was able to rent a truck and schedule it for a location if they were going to be â€œshort on trucks.â€Mark U.

I received a call from customer service the prior day stating i could not get the trailer i reserved at the rochester location and had to choose from Clarkston Waterford or St Clair Shores...all far away from me. I actually opened a NEW reservation for that night/next day in Rochester and went and picked up the trailer. They had FOUR trailers in the size I wanted and no reservations for the next day. Why was I told to move my reservation!!??Joseph A.

THE TRUCK WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OR LOCATION THAT I SELECTED. I made a reservation for a truck to use one week in advance of the date needed. I also arranged for movers to help me move. The rental location I reserved the truck from needed to take the vehicle out for repair, so I was changed to another location further from my house. When I went to pick up the truck, I learned the rental location had been moved again to a location further from my home. I started the checkout process using my AP and learned the truck had been set up for hand pick up, not the mobile procedure. The rental location is not open on Sunday, so this was not possible. I called U Haul customer service and was informed their wait time was a 40-50 minute wait time before I would be helped. I called the Regional Customer Service manager, Ryan, at this point and got his voice mail. He sent me a text asking me to call another person. I was given an even larger truck at a new location further from my home. I had movers at my home beginning at 10:30 AM and finally took delivery of my truck and was home at 12:30 PM. I incurred and additional $180 of cost to pay the movers and was given a $50 credit from U Haul. I am very disappointed. My reservations have had a problem on two occasions now, resulting in delays and an inconvenience or having to drive to a location further away. I will find another rental to do business with in the future that handles my needs in a consistent and professional manner.John J.

Service there was super slowwww! My reservation was at 10, I was there at 9:45 and because of the line I didn't get out until closer to 10:30 or 10:45. Got on the road and noticed the service engine light was on. Already way behind due to the keep the line flowing I called to report it.Jeremy J.
the staff are great. the uhaul website for checking in and checking out has problems. The process requiring taking pictures and uploading fails often. Website reports it is uploading but returns to the same upload request page over and over. Then one works. At check out i eventually had to go into counter. At return, the staff member also had to help personally as the photo upload for dash photo failed to upload on multiple attempts. keep your staff and pay them better.kenneth M.
