The vehicle I recently rented had License plate light bulbs were blown off. I was pulled over by a State Trooper and warned for it. I am very disappointed with your QC check, I wish all the vehicles were well inspected prior to renting.GANESH T.

The back door to the uhaul was wide open when I picked it up. The spots outback were supppppeerrr confusing and took me 10 min to find it.COLBY J.
I really don't like to check the vehicle on personal cell phone. The paper form is faster and quicker and easier to identify damages prior to the use of the vehicle. I just feel like the time it takes to check the vehicle on my phone is more time consuming when I just want to check the vehicle on paper to then be on my way. I know some customers are careless with others people's stuff and understand why the vehicle checks are important. Other then this the service is great at the Rochester Uhaul facility.Carrie G.

When we arrived to pick up our truck it would not start. The reservation was for 8:00am, one hour prior to opening and were doing mobile check-in. Since it wouldn't start we called customer service and were informed roadside would take at least a hour. So we waited for someone to show up and got a different truck. We left the lot more than 1 hour late. However, we were not reimbursed $50 even though our reservation time was not met due to no fault of our own. What's the point of a reservation guarantee if the truck can be faulty and we don't actually get it at our reserved time. The guy who got us a new truck was awesome, but everything else about this experience was poor.DEREK D.
We were extremely disappointed with the truck we rented from U-Haul. The truck was an absolute mess- inside and out. The truck had obviously been in several accidents and should have been pulled from the lot. The bumper was broken in several spots, with the inside metal frame bent. The passenger side had been smashed in, leaving the passenger door extremely difficult to open, and you couldn't open it fully. The door itself was scratched and dented, and the key slot didn't work. The bottom frame/skirting on both sides had been folded in and bent. The wheel frames were bent inward. The other side of the truck had been hit and was dented inward, cracking the paint and frame. There were a number of paint "dings" that had been fixed with what appeared to be primer or another matte paint. The inside of the truck was filthy. It smelled of cigarettes and someone had tapped out ash into both of the door handles. The passenger side dashboard had cuts and burns on it. There were burns on the ceiling. The seats had been ripped. The step/floorboards were cracked. The top of the truck had a number of scratches on it. And the inside of the truck was covered in mud. It was absolutely disgusting. The truck also had mechanical issues. Turning left was incredibly difficult, it needed an alignment, there was a rattle in the undercarriage, and the muffler sounded like it had a hole in it. If we hadn't been moving THAT day we would have refused the truck. As it was I insisted the store representative come out to visually inspect the truck.JENNIFER C.
Well I'm happy with service but not happy with being charged twice for the same truck in my credit card. Pick up uhaul is not user friendly it should be easier to do. It's not easy at all . So we had to go inside and book it.William B.
