There was no room whatsoever to park a 26 ft U-haul and a car transport.
Chad PIt would be nice if there was a waiting area inside the building. Maybe the building can get a face-lift as well to make it look more official. I get that this is a more run-down part of town, but it doesn't need to look so dilapidated. I think it would help it seem more like a professional location. I did appreciate the guy there who gave me the keys - he was friendly and encouraging, particularly since it was my first time driving a U-Haul truck.
David GI scheduled my pickup for the actual U-Haul location in St. Joseph and got bumped to this whole-in-the-wall parking lot with a shed. I selected in-person pick-up. There was no one there. I found 3 phone numbers on the building, no one answered. I had to call the U-Haul location that I had asked to be at to check me in and due everything over the phone. It took me 40 minutes to pick up a truck from an unstaffed, un-maintained little shed with lock boxes on the wall. This is not a U-Haul location. Please shut it down and allow people to actually use your real business on the Belt Highway. Terrible experience.
Tyler SNo one at location. Had to call uhaul to get the location to say trailer was returned. I shouldn't have to check, check and check again to make sure a trailer is checked in by your drop off location. Poor business practice. I would not use uhaul again if I had to use that location.
