Honestly I have always had a pleasant experience renting from this particular u-haul center. However today upon returning the cargo Van there is a discrepancy in the miles. Granted I am so used to everything going smoothly here I didn't bother to review, well lesson learned on my part. I Received push back from the general manager of the u-haul center. I didn't appreciate his tone or underlying accusation. I have never questioned my invoice received upon returning my rental. When I told him to charge me for what he thought I drove I told him I will call corporate office and explain the situation to them. He inform me that when I call corporate I'm just going to talk to him and hes going to tell me the same thing And that the odometer is not just going to start raking or adding on miles by itself. There are several different scenarios where deal dominator could be wrong for instance maybe one of his employees transposed the numbers that's an easy simple mistake. Or, Possibly an employee took this Van out and used it and didn't record the mileage possibly an employee let one of their friends use the Van and did not report the mileage. I don't think it's in the best interests of u-haul or the customer base to blame the customer. He then told me to figure out how many miles I drove and he'd be back upon his return I told him I drove a 8.2 miles, he Adjusted the price and said let me know if there's anything else you need walked away there was no thank you there was no how was your experience nothing. Just so everyone remembers I don't have to choose this location there are many locations within the city limits that I can go to and rent a truck. Maybe he was having a bad day I'm not really sure, maybe hes homophobic Again not really sure. I am a repeat customer And I go out of my way to rent from this location and I just didn't appreciate being made to feel as if I was trying to pull one over on him. And so since any complaint or any phone call is going to go to him I'm sure I will not even receive anyone taking the time To reach out to me and acknowledge my experience, and that is somewhat disappointing.

The online booking system is frustrating. We rent weekly, and almost always reserve our truck online. We click the box for using our preferred credit card, yet when we go in the store to pick up the truck, we have to go through the entire online system all over again, and present a credit card in person. We are a busy small business, and I count on my employees to pick up the trucks, yet your system is making it increasingly difficult for us to do this. The employees at this location are always helpful in trying to make this an easy process for us. It seems like the challenge is with the online system itself? The store manager suggested we try a corporate account with UHaul, which we will make time to do ASAP. But in the mean time, my idea for improvement is to eliminate the redundancy for customers.

The people at the location were great. The problem was with whomever took my reservation over the phone. I was renting a motorcycle trailer. They asked what I was using to haul the trailer and I said a Jeep Liberty. I asked if I need to do any thing about the lights for the trailer and they said no. When I got to the location they advised I had to have a light connection which I do not have. Rather than renting the $20 trailer I spent $120 to rent a pickup and trailer since I had to move something that day. Really unhappy with the reservation person but the location people did everything they could to make it work.

The representative was AWESOME!! He took the time to explain everything to me to make sure I could properly secure my load and helped me find a route to my load point that was easy to navigate pulling a trailer. Can't say enough good about this location

Very very good customer service. In and out of the store. They made sure that i had everything I needed to tow with, and then the young lady hooked up the trailer. I thought that was amazing Keep up the good work. A lot of companies need workers like this. They seem to enjoy their job.
