I was not given the option at all during my booking, or during the process of receiving my keys, to do a one way trip. They forced me to drive my UHAUL all the way back to Salem from Portland when I wanted to just drive it to Portland and leave it there. So I ended up spending $115 just on mileage, when I should've only spent half of that. But besides that, the truck was clean and ran well.ALEXANDRA PARIS K.

One of the employees grabbed my husbands arm. He then lied and said he rented us the trailer. When I went into the shop to turn in the paper work I was told to get out. I asked if he needed the paperwork I was told to get out or he would call the police. None of this had to happen. I will never use U Haul again and I will tell all of my friends and family to rent from Ryder or Any other company.LORENA SUSAN S.

Generally, using the app was a positive experience. This location was better than most, except there was no parking onsite. What little parking exists is on-street parking that requires crossing a busy street without a crosswalk. This was my first time using the Uhaul app for a rental, and I was surprised to be asked for a passport or the lease on my home in order to proceed. Since there was no indication these items might be needed beforehand, I only found out once I was there at the Uhaul location. Unfortunately, the only other option left for confirming my identity was having a Uhaul rep phone someone who knew me. It was awkward, and I've apologized to them for the intrusion. So, my suggestion for Uhaul is to let first time users know when they are booking the rental that they may need to provide additional I.D. and what items would be acceptable (passport, lease agreement, etc.)Kristi R.

I called this location the following day to see if we would be prorated for an early drop off and they stated that we had agreed to turn it in on a specific day....after we told the first location that we only needed it for one day and would be able to drop it off the next day. This customer service rep was unwilling to help or find a way to resolve this overpriced service agreement. The truck was emptied and ready to be returned the next day yet we were going to be charged for an additional day. So it sat in my driveway for an extra day for no reason other than I was being charged for that day. I wish you would train your sales reps to work with your customers and understand that a 54 mile trip should not have cost us almost $250. When returning the truck the sales rep informed my husband that he needed to drop it off in a different location when clearly it does not state that outside. The map directed us to drive directly to the spot we ended up at and in able to return it to the other spot we'd have to go around the neighborhood because we were on a one way street and the supposed dropped off was one door over. This experience makes me glad I don't have to use rental services for hauling items. I am highly dissatisfied and believe we were misinformed of the services and over charged for no reason.lisa B.
