The customer service was my only good experience using uhaul this time around.. the truck had less gas than what was supposed to and it made it 10 miles before almost completely running empty i spent 70 dollars total on gas. The tires on rear were bald no traction at all once i parked at my previous home after loading up the tires spun out and dug a rut and couldnt get out so i spent another 125 on wrecker to pull it out.. then when i finally returned the uhaul to same place the uhaul app would not allow pictures to upload for drop off at 11pm..had to drive all the way back before 730 to drop off keys..only other thing would be for uhaul to clean under their seats ran into a wad of what i hope was chocolate melted to seats got all over my hands when i put parking brake down..joshua Z.

Hate the change to having to call in and get reservations. I was on hold for 15 minutes while I sat in a u-haul office looking at lots of trucks. I had talked to an employee on Tuesday and was told to "just come on down. No need for a reservation." They gave me some crappie reasons but once again front office making stupid rules that they think will work without thinking things through.ROBERT L.
Not organized. The area where you return the equipment was blocked and no one Tried to correct it making it impossible to get checked in. Additionally, my bill was way off and the clerk had no clue. Will definitely drive that extra mile to rent elsewhereRuben A.
Horrible service from the start. Reserved truck,appliance dolly, furniture dolly, furniture pads, and purchased 2 mattress covers online @ a location 1/2 mile from my house on line and received confirmation all was scheduled. The next day I received another confirmation but mentioned another location which is further from the original pick up location. However, the email still had the address of the original location for pick up. When I called, I was told I would have to go to the original location to pick up the mattress covers, but would need to go to the other location for the truck , dolilies, and moving pads. Not sure why I had to go to two locations. When I arrived to pick up the truck and supplies, nothing was ready. Had to wait for the appliance dolly, and was then told they don't rent furniture dollies, but they do sell them. No I didn't buy one. But they are advertised for rent for $7.00 a day online and at both locations. HUH?? Well in a rush, I was one my way for a full day of work. I got acclimated to the truck and properly adjusted my mirrors. However, as I left, the side mirror fell out of adjustment. Checked it on my first stop, and a screw was missing, so went on with my day. The front end on this truck is in need of repair as felt very loose. The truck did have two new tires on the front and not so new ones on the rear, but still in good condition. They are very short handed at this location as only an office person and an outside person working which leaves me to believe, they don't have enough time to properly maintain or check the vehicles prior to handing them to the customer. To say the least, this really impacted my schedule and will think twice of using u-haul for my next rental. You've been warned .ROBERT T.
I picked my first location that said the equipment was available because it was close to my house. Then got told that I had to go to a different location just a couple of days before pickup and when I showed up to the location I was told to go to the equipment wasn't there. I then had to go to another location and the guy there redid my order and messed it all up. I had placed my order for six days and the guy said he'd be lowering the insurance since I wasn't going one way but instead changed my order to just a one day rental which I didn't notice until uhaul called asking when I would be returning the rental on the fifth day I had it. The customer service set up at this location was inefficient. Employees had to leave the counter for log periods of time, presumably to go to the storage yard. When this happened there was no way of knowing if they were even going to come back to the counter.Oben L.
