The pick up location at Kings Row was good and the person who checked us in was very nice. I wanted to provide feedback on the booking experience. I was lied to about the truck availabilities, resulting in a very inconvenient drive and me having to pay more on mileage. My original pick up and drop off location was the one on Oakland Rd, Milpitas. One week before my RSVP date, I received a notice that the Oakland Rd location had no available trucks, and that I had to go to the Kings Row location. Two days before my RSVP date, I called U-Haul to see if Oakland Rd had any trucks in case someone canceled. The person on the phone said there were no trucks or vans. I live right across the street from the Oakland Rd spot. On the day of my RSVP, while I was driving to Kings Row at 8am, I saw around 10-12 trucks and vans sitting in the lot. When I went to drop my truck off, I drove past Oakland Rd again at 4pm and saw plenty of vehicles. The Kings Row employee also told me he called the Oakland Rd location and they even confirmed they had plenty of vehicles to rent out. So, I’m not sure why I had to drive to the overflow location. U-Haul charges by the mile, so I had to pay an extra cost just to go to the overflow site. It seemed like whoever manages the trucks in these location felt that they just wanted to charge me a higher fee by selecting a location further from me. It was disappointing and dishonest. It definitely makes me rethink using U-Haul again.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisAt first I was upset because they move my location 3 mi from where I was supposed to pick it up having my mom with me it was really big inconvenience and I don't have a car but when we got there the guy was awesome everything went well and I would definitely recommend him again to somebody else thank you it was because of his customer service everything was smooth over really good and it was awesome so thank you.

Jason BI went directly to the facility that I wanted on Alameda. I reserved a truck. At the last minute, while I was out of town, my reservation was switched to another location. This is unacceptable. I will tell all my friends that with Uhaul, they cannot rely on their reservation at the facility of choice.
Renaldo BWhen I was driving to the pick up location, the neighborhood looks like a junkyard. I was having a safety concern. When I got to the office, I have second thought is this really a legit u-haul pick up location. It looks like a temporary set up office in nowhere.
