The van that I rented was given to someone else an hour before my scheduled pick-up time. They had no explanation as to why they did this and recommended that I call U-Haul to get my $50 guarantee award. That was not an option for me since I had scheduled a pick-up of a sofa for 45 minutes later and I had to suggest that they rent me another truck (bigger than I wanted) instead for the same price as the van. They accommodated me with this, but it was still frustrating that I had to deal with this last-minute issue.

Mary LThis review is regarding U-HAUL as a company. I requested a reservation from a different location and was shifted to the Severna Park PB two days before I needed the truck. The BP did not have the appliance dolly i requested and the fuel tank read 43-mile range; nearly empty! To top this off I was charged for the appliance rental and a furniture dolly and 24 pads! I did not order these nor did I receive these. The gentleman that helped me at the BP Station was kind and did his best; however, the service from U-HAUL was terrible and I'll NEVER use U-HAUL again!
Michael JI reserved the unit with a dolly and when we arrived, we were told they did not have one available. This made our move much more difficult Additionally, I was still charged the $7 for the dolly that I never received.
