This location charged me $21 for fuel. When I turned truck in the level 3/4 well above what above what was in it when rented the truck. Beware of this location

My reserved vehicle was not available. I had to rebook another vehicle which was shorter in length and costed me two trips and extra labor charges.

Tajinder MI requested 5 hours to rent the U-haul truck on 12/14/24. Approximately 35 minutes of rental service, the truck stop running and would not start. I called U-haul roadside service for help. Approximately, 1 hour later roadside service arrived telling me that the alternator or starter is bad. Within a few minutes, the U-haul truck started by receiving a jump start from another U-haul truck. I was advised not to turn the truck off and return it back to Byron Market where I rented the U-haul truck from. I was charged for full service for a U-haul truck that broke down and needs repair services. I am asking for a full refund due your U-haul truck needed service before it was rented to me. What you need to do is make sure all your U-haul truck maintenance services is completed and running properly before renting them out so that the customers are not inconvenienced and stuck on the road or streets. I have not heard from the manager yet. If I don’t hear from the manager within a couple of days, I will be filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau and calling my Credit Card Company. The roadside service guy was nice and helpful. He said that he was going to report that the U-haul truck needed a alternator or a starter.
CYNTHIA JThe engine light was on in the truck. It drove as if it needed an alignment. The truck smelled like smoke. Additionally, I was charged another 4 hours for a 30 minute late return. Saturday December 14th (12/14/24) was a extremely rainy morning. Very disappointing service.
