I was very disappointed, as I reserve the truck at the Grant Road location, which is less than half mile from my company. However, when I went to pick-up the truck, they told me the pick-up location had been changed to Moore Performance, which was more than 3 miles away. Being as UHaul charges $0.99/mile, I thought this was very poor customer service, not on Moore Performance's part, but on UHaul Management's part. Consequently, we will no longer rent from UHaul. We will instead use Penske truck rental, as I think they are a much better managed company.

I was sent to this location from the original drop-off location, where the owner told me he had no room for the trailer. That was a bit of a hassle, because when I got to this location, they seemed closed. Eventually someone came out and helped, and then it was fine.

When I arrived, I spoke to lady at the front about my appointment, she stated that since I had opted to receive msgs via text, everything was taken care of and I just needed to take the prompts from my phone. I discovered that when I got to my destination, no shipping blankets were in the cabin. I called Moore performance and the lady stated that they "would let U haul know to try and get those removed from the order." Not having the blankets caused some of my furniture to get scratched which I'm not too happy about. When I dropped off the truck, I drove less than the 60 miles I had originally estimated, but when I looked at the electronic statement, I noticed that I was charged for both shipping blankets and the entire 60 miles. Not very satisfied with this type of service and I feel I got taken advantage of.

On-line check-out was impossible to navigate by my cell phone, would not accept contract number, last name, e-mail address or phone number. Thankfully, there was someone at the business that was able to open up and turn vehicle in. Again, the utility of the U-haul app is very lacking and needs to be fixed ASAP.

In the pre-reservation email, clarify what will need to be done before you show up to check out your equipment using your phone. I didn't have location services turned on, so I spent a good five minutes trying to figure out how to proceed when U-Haul couldn't verify my location. Furthermore, provide an estimate as to how long it will take for photo/driver's license photo verification is going to take. I waited for eight minutes outside the truck before I could proceed. Perhaps make that option something you can complete before you're at the location?

Was beyond irritated that when we rented this U-Haul they would not let us return it at a different location than where we picked it up. We drove an hour and a half to pickup the U-Haul near where I was moving out expecting to be able to leave it at a place near my new residence, only to find out they wouldn’t let us do any other option besides driving the hour and a half BACK to return it. Wasted money and time.

Staff was friendly and nice. My only real complaint is the inside of the Truck could have been a little cleaner... and the Location is in a Bad part of town.. but the staff were great. My other complaint is not about this location but the fact that I reserved a truck online for 6 days at a different location closer to my house, and when I got there they told me I couldn't have the truck for 6 days.. they did help me get this truck , but it was definitely inconvenient and stressful since I had people waiting to me load and I had to go somewhere else to get it.
