doing the contract over a phone will cost you more money. uhaul operators will make costly mistakes. my contract was for one way,and drop off.got calls looking for trailer. and more money for wrong drop off location. costly lesson learned. terrible

We paid full price for a trailer to haul across the state that had no right tail light/ blinker. Couldn't reach anyone to swap out the trailer because it was a Sunday so had to drive across the state of Kansas, hauling a highly valuable classic car, risking a ticket/accident bc we couldn't signal our turns.

The lady who first helped me (think her name was Jill) was awsome! Beyond that not so much. When it was time to return the trailer I called to check hours of operation. A guy ( sounded older ) answered the phone like I was bothering him. His tone was very off putting. He proceeded to speak condescending like I was supposed to know by memory his hours of operation and the process of leaving which documents in a drop box. I arrived 11 minutes past the time they were supposed to be closed but the bay doors were open and customers standing around. I thought "oh good I dont have to leave docs in a drop box and can physically speak to someone" unfortunately it was the same grouchy old man. I was having trouble getting the hitch off so I asked what to do. He said " you know, we are closed but I guess we can wait on you" then turned his back to me uttered something in Spanish to another guy and walked away.Not thx for your business sir, please come again sir, nothing. Worst customer service in a long time. NEVER GOING BACK THERE.

Initial reservation was ok. Very helpful and knowledgable. Pickup was another story. Only one non-english speaking person was in the facility. They said 10-15 minutes. I waited 20. I then called the number left on a voice mail indicating my pickup time was almost over due. She helped me check out and confirmed hookup by pic. There were various individuals in and out and when I went inside to let them know I had completed checkout by phone the individual (a different person than above) was non-chalant, like ok we let people come and take our trailers without helping or asking questions all the time. Not necessarily a bad experience, but definitely different than what I have experienced in more urban locations.

I've used them a couple times and they are always very nice to work with. But none of the uhauls in the area had the bigger truck I actually needed. So I wasn't able to get all of my stuff moved. I wish they had the can or pick up trucks at these locations as well, many times I needed one but they weren't available. So them I had to find an alternative.

This wasn't the original pick up place. It was to be in Garden City, but uhaul made it right. Have no complaint's at all.

The truck steering is very loose. It also pulls to the left a lot. That was hard to deal with for a 23 hour drive. I have blisters from trying to keep the truck straight.

Keep a better inventory locally so people dont have to drive 1 hour out of their way to rent equipment.

Make sure the lights on the dash is not flashing and the abs lights are not on. The brake lights turned on going down the road at 60 to 65 miles an hour. I called and drove back to the location they checked it out at hugoton ks and they said everything should be ok as long as the lights are flashing. Go ahead and drive it to Iola ks which was 7 hours from there and then Iola will put it in the shop. I drove it to liberal ks where I lived and then to Iola. Lights on buzzing noise and it was hell. Also if someone orders a truck over a week in advance there should be one in the town you are in. I am not to happy with your services this time

We had to drive an hour out of the way in order to pick up the U-Haul. We were not notified until the prior day when we had originally made the reservations 2 weeks prior. We are not reimbursed for gas time or finding another driver to take me there.

Truck was in rough shape. Drivers side window was broke and rattled the whole time. Truck did run well and had very cold A/C which was nice.

Truck cab reeked of cigarette smoke. Location did not have the pre-ordered dolly available. This made moving much more difficult and time consuming.

Was referred 30 minutes out of my way to this place. On top of that the trailer they had me take was already broken. The hitch did not lock well causing it to come off of my hitch and damage my truck when I tried to load the vehicle onto it. The fender was cracked all the way through on both sides with pinched wiring.. The lady told me to just take it and use it anyways.. At first the lady was really rude and seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. Overall poor service and equipment.

Not make people travel over 2 hours round trip to pick up a uhaul. If you do provide extra milage and reimburse for gas in uhaul and their personal vehicle.

There was not any of the supplies that we wanted to help us move. We took what they had, but really needed a lot more to help us move such as appliance dolly and furniture covers.

Have more equipment available. There was a mixup by the KC office. I had a 5 X 8 enclosed trailer on reserved status. The KC operator left a voice and text message confirming a 5 x 9 trailer to be picked up in Ulysses, KS. We arrived Monday at 10:00 am and there was a 5x8, a 6X12, both enclosed, and a 5X9 open trailer in the yard. I had to upgrade to the 6X12 to get an enclosed trailer for a rainy trip home to Arizona with household items that would have been ruined and the cost was approximately double of the original confirmation for a 5X8 enclosed. This is very poor customer relations even if it is a small dealer in rural Kansas.

I had to drive over 50 miles away just to pick up the trailer. I reserved the trailer in Garden City, Ks but had to drive to Ulysses, Ks to pick up. This was very inconvenient and cost me extra gas.
