I rented an Auto Transport. Both tire ratchets were rusty and hard to operate. I applied some WD-40 to try to loosen the ratcheting mechanisms on this Auto Transport. Aside from that, the trailer unit was clean and operational.

Ripped off. $10 rental for Dolly was broked found out too late at arrival to use. Reported but not compensated for the broken unused equipment. Trucks not well maintained almost 1/4 tank for 12 miles in a 27' truck is a lot gas consumption. Poor customer care by the owner of the establishment. Not renting nor recommending in the neighborhood.

This place is a joke! I made the reservation online and before I was even finished I got a call from the U-haul telling me the cargo van that the computer said was available wasn't there and that they would adjust my pickup site. I get to this place not knowing what to expect and I see some store out of a B rate movie complete with some middle eastern guy who barely speaks English at the counter. Hands me the key and tells me where the van is parked, no paperwork, no pre-inspection, nothing! So then I get to the van and it is covered in mud/dirt both inside and out. At that point I had a mission to continue, when I returned the van I had to wait about 5 minutes inside the store as I assume the owner's son sat at the counter playing a video game and no one else was insight or hearing. Then the old guy comes out asks me for the key and that is it. Again no paperwork, no post-inspection, nothing to tell me if this dude is going to try to screw me over and give a surprise fees on my CC. Next time I'll just stick with the U-haul place as they are professional and will help you out and make sure everything is good rather than leaving things up to chance.

While the location took the equipment they would not give me a receipt. I returned at 18:10 on 10/06/2018 not as shown. Very uneasy feeling. Just kept being told, “trust me, you are good”. They did what they said but why not check it in when returned. They were open for another 2 hours.

Ensure that customers are aware that U-Hauls equipment is not water tight and not simply noted in the paperwork that the sales reps fly through so quickly and gets easily over looked. With all of the rain San Antonio had been experiencing, if I had know that the equipment could leak, I would have purchased tarps to cover everything, but instead, as I was unaware, my brand new, king, Tempur-Pedic mattress was waterlogged. Definitely not a happy mover!

The owner added insurance charges without my knowledge or approval. He did not tell me anything about the insurance charges. He did not provide an invoice onsite. He said that it would be emailed to me. If he had given me the invoice in person I would have cancelled the insurance charges. Instead he charge me for insurance that was 50% of the rental charge. While the trailer was in good shape, he allowed me to take the trailer with an expired license plate. Will only use major U-haul location from now on. I will no longer use locations that have U-hauls as a side business.

We were suppose to do a mobile check in and pick up and the key code wasn't given. Then after 1hr and 26 mins on hold with customer service they contacted the store o my to do d out they put the key in the box and since by now it was after 9pm when our pick up was for 8pm. They had to call someone out because everyone left the store by 6pm. Terrible pick up and no compensation was offered by store or uhaul customer service

Best U-Haul location anywhere. Great service and very customer oriented. I highly recommend renting at this location. I have been renting there for over 10 years and drive past other locations simply because of the unsurpassed service at Super K.
