I waited at counter for 20 minutes and the store called 4 times. Nobody came to sssist me and I had an Uber waiting on me snd had to be at work. So, I finally did self checkout. A woman followed me amd took the keys. Later, I looked at my phone and saw that Uhaul took $169 out of my account. The day before Manteca charged me $175 but told me $151. I figured the charge was deposit. After Ace Uhaul charged me I immediately called because that was all the money to my name to feed my kids. We have been living in a hotel for 2 months before that day and I spent all had on our new apartment. Ace customer service rep was horrid. He told me he didn't know why I was charged again but that I went 90 something miles over. I told him I did not there was impossible because Manteca is only 40 something miles away from Valley Springs. We went back and forth I kept telling him I've been charged twice gave him the dates and the receipt number. After a good time on the phone, he said I went over and I said what how much is the overcharge he said $34. I said why Libras charge 175 yesterday and you guys just charged me 169 so it seems y'all owe me some money. He would not listen I showed my friends the charges on my phone. None of it made sense. I heard him talk to a manager who gave him no advice at all. Finally he gave me the traffic phone number too which I cannot get ahold of anyone. My kids and I had Top Ramen get again for dinner. I need my money back I'm very unsatisfied with the way I was treated at Ace Hardware and I will never ever go there again or will I recommend. I'm a school teacher that fell in hard times. I did not deserve the treatment I got a taste I did not deserve Uhaul taking my money not once but twice. I want my money back because both places told me they charge $20 less than what they really did charge and I have two witnesses in the car listening well I was speaking with the customer service rep who insisted I was only charged but yet my account was charged $20 over what each Uhaul location verbally told me. Please get back to me and give me my money back I argued that you guys can take money and immediately and he said he had no way of returning my money.

ACE did there best trying to utilize the UHaul registration system. Unfortunately due to issues at UHaul, I was delayed 2 hours why they tried to resolve Uhaul issues. I rent trailers at this location quite often. Please fix your computer issues.

I made a reservation to pick up in Jackson, was called and told the closes truck available would be in valley springs. After making arrangements for helpers and coordinating times with my brother who flew in from Texas to clear out my mother's apartment, that passed away last week. When we arrived at 9:00am as instructed we were told the truck was not there and the person who was returning it was kind enough to hurry up and bring it back because he had reserved it for 2 days and Uhaul screwed up the reservation. Very disorganized.

The person who rented the truck to me was a complete mess as was the truck, or was littered with food wrappers and hay in the back when we c picked it up. He also couldn't find the keys for, sent me to the wrong area to pick the truck up, then left me there for fifteen minutes while he helped other customers instead of finishing my transaction. He did not do a pre rental damage inspection before I left and seemed as though he was more concerned about helping other people then he was helping me, even though we had begun our transaction before the other people he was helping. I won't be renting from this business again.

The renting of the trucks was easy. The returning the trucks was a pain. I rented 3 trucks. One truck I returned 2 days early and they wanted to charge me an extra day. The second truck I returned 1 day early and they wanted to charge me an extra day. The third truck I paid for an extra day returned on time and they still wanted to charge me an extra day. This was not the fault of the return place it was the fault of uhaul. Not sure I will use them again. A simple drop off turned into an hour or more of my time them trying to figure out why they were wanting charge me extra days??

I called this location to reserve a pickup truck for 2 days. When I picked it up, I was only able to use for 24 hours, it had been double reserved, so I only got 1/2 of my work done. Disappointed the staff told me 1 thing & then when I get there, a different story.

Was supposed to pick up uhual at 9 a.m. And ended standing in line until 10:45 due to internet connection, couldn't print paper work.Truck was not clean and smelled like kaka (wet manure) from all the plants that were stored in it previously. There was wet soil all over the walls and soil and broken glass down the ramp. I was late for deliveries at my new home because of the time and it made me go with out fridge and washer/dryer for four days. Usually uhaul is great for me,but this time was terrible! My wife wants a refund because our sofas stink like manure! Soes that sound like a good experience to you?

The brakes need to be inspected. Very spongy brakes. Would not be able to stop in an emergency situation. I can’t empathize enough how bad the brakes are. Service person checking me out was awesome and very helpful.

We had 20hrs notice that our pickup location would be 30+ miles from the requested location. after driving 500 miles that day the additional distance was a surprise! Add 60 miles total to our trip. But the personnel at the local were wonderful even though it was the young mans first time signing our a trailer on his own.

I initially ordered the truck at a site over a thirty minute drive away which was confirmed via email. It was not until two days prior to pickup the location was changed adding over an hour of driving. My trip was several hundred miles and the truck only had a 1/2 tank of gas and clearly hadn’t been washed after it was last turned in. I will not be using U-Haul for future needs

Employee very slow with checking out vehicle. My bill was over a $100 more than my quote. I was quoted 15.99 to add a day for my rental but was charged way more than that when I returned the vehicle. I could've have hired a company to move my stuff for the same price Uhaul charged me to do it myself.
