Zane OI picked up the U-Haul on a day. The location was closed. The lock box was so rusted that it was difficult to open. I believe most people would’ve given up. In addition, this location was over 20 miles from the location. I originally selected to pick up the U-Haul. This is not the location’s fault, but rather U-Haul‘s fault.
Pamela KA horrible experience. No equipment requested was on the truck, so when we got to our home (an hour away, in the country) to load it up, you can imagine the frustration. It had already taken a very long time to even figure out getting INTO the truck, because automation & technology are nice when they work. It took an extra 40 min just to go get equipment after that & then we were charged for it. We had to call & wait a very long time on the phone for any customer service to help us. They reimbursed us a laughable amount of $30 store credit towards using them again. Mind you our total for this was over $600! And the equipment amount was ON TOP of that. I would NOT recommend them.
CHRISTA ALET CUSTOMERS KNOW THEY NEED TO HAVE THEIR CELL PHONE ON THEIR PERSON TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION. I had to WALK THREE MILES to get my cell phone just so I could pick up this truck. Not only did this add an hour to my loading schedule, but it was a huge inconvenience. Had I known in advance, I would have had my cell phone with me. SECONDLY, I reserved an appliance hand truck, but they didn't have one available, so I had to use a furniture dolly, which was in no way helpful. I'd like to think if I reserve a FULL WEEK IN ADVANCE you could make sure I get the equipment I need. So the location gets four stars, U-HAUL gets ONE.
