Booked online, nothing stating we had to put a $100 deposit down in person. We rented in September and did not have to go through this process. Took half hour to process, CSR said computer was slow, then he couldn’t locate the keys to the vehicle we needed. Absolute run around and inconvenience. Driver door to vehicle did not close properly despite slamming it shut. Will not rent again.

Have a place where people can sit while waiting to be served, this location gets very busy and when you have a lot of people waiting they may just decide to go elsewhere rather than stand there. This location also has to streamline it's check in time, there is simply no reason not to speed up the process( computer inputs too slow).

I WAS CHARGED EXTRA CHARGES FOR WHAT I ALREADY HAD PAID FOR AND NOTED A BROKEN WINDSHIELD TO MY RECORRD WHICH WAS BROKEN WHEN I PICKED UP THE TRUCK. THE UHAUL EMPPLOYEE KEPT SAYING I WAS OVERDUE WHEN MY CONTRACT INDICATED TO RETURN THE TRUCK BY SATURDAY. ITT WAS RETURNED SATURDAY. I AM NOT IMPRESSED.

First training your staff to be effecient in computer skills..second the car dolly I rented was broken and not able to secure down my car. Which pulled to one side and tore my front fender off on driver side.. secondly because it took so long to process the order I was late returning truck and next customer waiting was furious.. This was the worst move experience I have ever had and I have rented trucks several times..so for my first time renting at this location it was terrible...its too bad such a nice clean new place is already a disappointment...Uhaul should spend the extra time and money training staff ..it took a half hour to rent a car dolly..and this was while agent assisted me..

Customer service rep was just doing there job but when you ask for an emergency contact then they call the contact to verify when the contact is standing beside me makes no sense? Need to change your process. I understand the employee is just following the rules but that shows me there is no trust in the guest standing eight in front of you. Trailernsis its job but was extremely dirty inside and out.

Staff is great to work with as always. We did have an issue with the back door being frozen. We didn't know at the time of picking up our rental and when we got to our destination, we spent quite some time (along with the incredible effort it took) to open the back door so we can finally load the truck. This easily could have been avoided if perhaps in the future, staff can make sure the doors open especially on cold days with overnight snow/freezing rain situations before they give the trucks to their customers. Just a friendly suggestion.

I ordered 10 rental pads online a few days ago but they didn't provide any a single pad on the rentals day with saying that they don't have extra pads for customer rental. They should have notified me of unavailability of pad earlier

Full tank of gas .. was 30 miles to empty... I got in had to put $40 went 60 miles? And dropped of 40miles to empty and essentially i paid for mileage and gas ...kind of excessive.. may look elsewhere in very near future. .

Drop off was fine, howevernI was billed for extra amount that should not have bee. Talked to customer service and after about 30 mins was told the amount of a refund to the credit card. Received an email letting me know amount of the refund which was different . There a charge that was paid did not get refunded as stated it would.

I reserved a 10' truck, but got "locked in" to a 17' truck. I didn't want to drive a 17' truck, nor did I need one. I was told the truck I got needed to be in the US. I am not here for your convenience! Also, the gas was not at the level I was told it was. It was 1/8 lower.

One thing I was surprises was that tape with notes (ie kitchen, bathroom, etc.) were not removed from the boxes.

This is my second 15 foot box truck daily one-way rental in a month. This truck mechanically was much better, alignment and engine ran properly. Last rental from Leamington to Windsor, engine ran rough, used extra fuel. The first truck had bald outer edge tire on front driver's side, poor alignment. Second truck had new tires, clean engine, but floor had chips and food debris from previous renter. Mileage is a MAJOR CONCERN. They estimate on Google maps, always short of the departure and drop-off location on a linear line. That adds mileage which is so ridiculously restricted. Pickup to HOME location mileage + HOME location to destination + Destination to drop-off location plus a few kms for gas station refill. Would be considerate from UHAUL. EXTRA CHARGE FOR MILEAGE AND CLEANING FEE IF PREVIOUS RENTER HAD IT DIRTY. OVERCHARGE FOR MILEAGE IS A UHAUL POLICY SCAM, I AM SURE this happens to many customers either paying Mileage 24 hour rental, or One-way rental where the mileage should be included, plus distances to pickup and drop off and refueling. Check-in returns automated takes 10 minutes for all the checks and photos.

I rented a truck on Christmas Eve. I tried to return it 3 hours early and your app didn't give me confirmation of anything. When asking for photos of the dashboard and cleanliness of the truck, it wouldn't load the photos and froze and kept resetting the whole return process and giving me instructions to return the truck. I was freezing walking back and forth from the building to the truck and locking it and unlocking it and opening it up and taking photos and it just wasn't doing what it was supposed to do. I spent a good long time trying to return the truck. I eventually took all the photos and saved them on my phone and just dumped the keys in the return box. I figured the truck was as returned as it was going to be. You should add a feature in the web application for it to send a confirmation email or something when the truck is returned so that people know if the website has completed its task so they don't waste their time trying to redo it because no confirmation showed up and it never made it past step 3. You should also consider giving a clear list of the photos you want (with the examples you so kindly offered) and give people the option to take the photos and upload them when they're home, rather than forcing them to stay on the UHaul lot taking live photos until your website actually works.
