I had called ahead and spoke to a Uhaul representative while 'on the road' and said that I would be dropping off the Uhaul later than anticipated due to delays in leaving the Austin TX area. I was assured that the contract would be extended for a one way trip. When I dropped off the Uhaul in Yankton SD, I was charged an additional $89 for a delayed return. Jordan Backhaus

ALVIN TI had to rent the car hauler at a U-Haul that was 26 miles away from my destination. I had to hook the trailer up myself and then drove with it to the car lot. When I got to the lot I noticed the straps were ratcheted up wrong and the ends all tied up in knots. After getting the knots pulled out of them, I was unable to get the stamps out of the ratchets. I had to go to a local UHaul and ask for their assistance. He was nice enough to get them all straightened out so I could continue to load the car. Very annoying.
