I received very good customer service, but the cargo trailer was an older model and the door was somewhat rusted, a little hard to open and close, I have rented newer ones that I could connect and disconnect myself

Mikaela CrumlichWhat I didn't expect was I wanted to pay cash for my rental and it was going to be 60 dollars more than it would of been if using credit card. I think that is a little ridiculous. The representative at the pickup location told me that's uhaul that set this policy in place.
David AmmermanWhen I arrived. There were 3 young men sitting in the Garage. I asked them who did I need to check the truck in with. They said they would get the person. I waited at least 15 minutes. I could see the guys and they could see me. I called to see them but no one said anything. So I checked my email to see if I could check back in with 24/7. I then called uhaul where they connected me to a supervisor. A guy that did not have any work clothes or company uniform on (jeans and t shirt) did not appear to be a worker appeared to be visiting came out after I asked him a him if someone could help me ( my 2nd request) he went to find someone came back and said. You got the key? I said yes, he said you can give it to me. I asked for a receipt or a way to check and confirm that it was brought back appropriate. He said that your okay just go. When I requested again someone finally came out and said my fee for a nine mile travel and low gas fuel was 152.00. I then spoke with the supervisor who was also on the line and she fixed the situation. The guy seemed nice enough when he finally came out. I had seen him the entire time. The truck was clean but had a bad smell. I hate submit a bad report but hope this will serve as a learning tool or guide for at least decent customer service.
