Do you need a cross bar attachment for female bikes?
Hello Ginny! You do not need a cross bar attachment for female bikes. This rack uses rotating frame holders to secure the bike. The rubber padded holders rotate 360 degrees, and move up and down the center mast independently. This accommodates frames of various shapes and sizes. Hi Erika! The frame grabbers can attach to a bike's frame or seat tube with a diameter range of 1"- 2". If the frame is too large just attach the grabber to the seat post tube. I hope that helps!
