Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI was over charged mileage and an additional day? Please fix
Shannon MI have no complaints with this location. However, my rental experience prior to pickup was not great. My reservation location was changed 2 hours before the scheduled time, and I did not receive a call to let me know. So I found myself standing at a uhaul location with no uhaul. Then I was scheduled with a location that was much farther away without anyone calling to see what my preferences would be. I called the routing department, and a lovely gentleman helped me reschedule at closer locations which is what should have been done in the first place. If a location needs to be changed, the minimal customer service that can be offered is a phone call and conversation about the options. It was VERY frustrating and an unnecessary stressor. Especially becaue I called 2 days prior to confirm the pickup location.
Marianna PThis drop off location was also very helpful. No issues. However, this was not the drop location initially. I had a drop in Newland, NC, which is where I went to an it was much more convenient that having to drive 20 miles in the mountains to Spruce Pine, NC. We were told by U-haul and the Newland drop off location we were in the system and nothing else needed to be done on our part. After a day of unloading, we went to the Newland location and was told we could not drop there and had to go to Spruce Pine. Argument go heated with the owner and my son and almost escalated into a mess. But I go him out of there and we drove to Spruce Pine. Newland location was terrible. Poor customer service and no help at all. I would never recommend or use in the future. They need to be replace. The location was Green River Auto Sales.
Larry OMike was beyond accommodating by agreeing to meet us after hours, as was Wendy UHAUL 768 traffic who helped us get a truck when there were none - thanks Wendy and Mike!!
