My experience here was poor in factor only, customer service. The staff that was working were having full conversations and sharing content in their phones with each other with customers waiting for help. But the worst was that I received a notification from U-Haul indicating that I could receive a free lock on moving day after I completed checking in online.When I tried I got a message indicating that I could not check in online and had to check in at the store I took a screenshot and showed them this, the girl helping me turned to the person next to her and said I was the second person with this issue. I was told to make a second reservation and try again then I got the exact same error the person who verified this error was someone named Nikita winters who I believe was the manager. When I asked what we should do next to honor the free lock I was promised she smirked and said "what am I supposed to do about it" with a condescending tone and when I asked if she could honor it she said "I don't control things and are you expecting me to do something about the website? I'm not the website" she turned to her peer and just started laughing about the situation. I ended up buying a lock but will be calling customer service to demand a refund. There is zero reason to treat a new client the way I was treated. The employees seemed more interested in being on their phones than helping drive business

LATREASE M. | First ImpressionsI have been using uhaul services ever year since my kid has been in college. Year 1 - no issue, year 2 issue(rat urine and feces ruined a lot of stuff. Year 3 -no issue. This year, the person was doing a hard sell trying to convince us to take a larger storage unit. I also asked about the free lock offer that was sent to my phone. She told me in order to get that offer, I would need to pay online. She has a lock in her hand, I asked is that lock free. She said no. I told her that i do not need a lock. She pushes back and says, you need a round lock. I said, I have one. She also brought out a map to attempt to sway me to choose a more expensive unit. I did not appreciate this location's tactics.
GWENDOLENE N. | First ImpressionsAlicia and the team on Boxmere are absolutely amazing!! Even when they are busy, they are still attentive and patient. The store is always clean and organized. I always recommend this location whenever asked for a recommendation on what storage facility is best.

cynthia n. | Overall ExperienceI am still having issues closing out my account, Someone came buy to take lock off storage and gave the key card to manager on duty. I've received a bill for next month we're told that it wasn't closed out yet I speak to manager. When I call back manager not there or get rerouted. I've spoken with a work two weeks ago and toll them if I not able to come back myself I will send another to close out the storage unit. They taken everything the could out and left the rest, took the look off and gave to manager on duty. It's the same young lady that checked up into the unit. For health reason mom had to move to California at short notice, we taken out majority of everything except paintings new kitchen table bench, gaming chair, a few other stuff it's almost empty except for those items left behind. The last worker told me it may/ may not be a cleaning out fee of $50.00. Unit 1520 has already moved out since 04/10/2023, thanks.
