I think on the weeks you should have more staff during your busy time. There was to two people in the morning when all your people were picking up when trucks. Did have to wait about 40 minutes to taken care off.

The only hangup I persisently encountered were the key card scanners. Since day 1, it often took 10 or more swipes to get them to read the card.

She was extremely busy training a new worker but still found the time to be extremely patient, courteous, and helpful with customers. She was also helping a second customer move a very large heavy crate, while cheerfully helping us unload our truck. She is one reason why I will continue to patronize U-Haul.

Catherine B. | Overall ExperienceThis place is a dump, and from the interactions with managers that we had, it's easy to see why. Don't be enticed by the one month of free storage like we were. Store your stuff someplace else. The major issue we had was that part of the ceiling to our unit collapsed, covering everything in sheetrock dust. The person they contracted to repair it fell through the ceiling into our unit, injured himself, and had to climb back out by standing on our couch. Poor guy! We weren't notified of any of this - just arrived to find a huge mess and damaged property. The manager at the time, Denny, was defensive, standoffish and basically refused to do much to help us. Everything went through U-Haul's insurance company, RepWest (which, blessedly, was professional and efficient. Denny eventually was replaced, and the new manager, Chelsea (same last name as Denny), was more willing to work with us to come to a solution. Still, it doesn't feel like the left hand is talking to the right at this place. I sent messages about the situation to U-Haul corporate and never heard anything back. You have to scan a keycard twice to unlock the outside door, but the access panel was always more finicky than a NYC subway gate, and sometime in the last couple months it was broken, so management had to come let you in (assuming they were there.) There's this vaunted security system, but on multiple occasions we arrived to find that someone had propped the outside door open with a cinderblock. I really appreciate the convenience of U-Haul's truck and trailer rental, but if you have a choice, store your stuff someplace else.
Andrew H. | Overall ExperienceI had an issue with identity theft and could not access my accounts to pay my bill. Instead of anyone offering a solution or an extension of time to pay my unit was auctioned.
