DENNIS MThe owner/lot attendant was extremely rude and unpleasant. He spoke brusquely to me and acted as if he was doing me a favor renting me a trailer. As the customer, one would expect that U-Haul would treat its customers with respect. He was adamant about the reservation time and when I was inadvertently delayed, due to an emergency, he insisted that the rental 24 hours started at the time of the original reservation and that I had to return the trailer 24 hours from the original reservation time (12:00 noon) thus I paid for 24 hours but only had the trailer 21 hours. He demanded that if I failed to return the trailer by noon the next day he’d charge me for two days rental. His Inflexibility dismayed and upset me. Again treating me poorly and not as a valued customer who has repeatedly rented items from your company for many years.
