The battery of the truck died after the vehicle was shut off to refue. The gas gauge then stopped working. Also returning the vehicle was an extended process because there was only one employee who was also running the other business as well.

Unfortunately I can not say that i had wonderful experience using uhaul. The uhaul representative did not know how to spole broken english and riahing me bevause the store got busy and he was the only cashier at the time. Furthermore the cashier made me sign documentation which later was discovered i was billed for insurance that was added. My suggestion for improvement is to hire representatives that speak English.

Rick was Very Helpful. I had used a U Haul dealer in Prices Corner Area ( Delaware Equipment ) and they are very unpleasant / Rude. They Really do not care for the customer. Rick on the other hand at Express Food Mart was GREAT. I will rent from him Again. !

I would not recommend this location to anyone when I entered the store everything went well at first I was thinking great experience we asked what time we are to return the truck attendant said 12pm the next day we doubled checked and asked are u sure he replied yes it’s 24hrs I reply okay cool we’ll have it back by 12 or before he assured us it was fine no extra charge upon arrival we returned the truck and attended charged me 62 and change I assumed it was for extra mileage paid him and went on my way he told me to do the survey I said I would as I checked my email to give him the review he was nice I seen my receipt only said 42.25 so I called the location it is now around 12:20pm he then tells me that the paperwork says 12:00am and that I was charged extra due to the fact we didn’t return it till the next day I then questioned why my receipt didn’t say that and told him what the night before attendant told us he said oh the contract the contract states that we had to have it back by 12am and had that been stated i would have had it back we only used the truck for abt a hour being that he told us no take ur time it’s 24hrs and u have until 12pm we took our time I am still confused why that charge was not on the receipt either and he told me he would talk to the guy and call me back I have not received a call yet this whole experience has me very upset and No longer will I use this service again I also am contacting the better business bureau to make them aware of this situation I feel as though I been robbed to be honest so for anyone seeing this don’t use this location ever this was supposed to be an easy experience that is now made until a whole annoying situation

Untrained representative who was the only person on duty at the convenience store. She repeatedly paused my process to take care of customers for the c-store. She also spent quite a bit of time looking for the keys to start the trailer (not a joke). Trailer wheel covering was damaged. Truck not completely swept clean. Truck gave me a number of problems on the drive. Transmission problems - not shifting or shifting improperly. I had to add oil to the truck because the level was low - paid out of my own pocket. Truck could not handle towing my car through the hills. Something on the truck (brakes) or trailer (wheels) started smoking and we were forced to remove the car and drive it separately until we reached flatter ground. Again, the cost of gas came out of my pocket.

When arriving to the store location, I arrived at 6:15, was not greeted until 6:20 where I provided my name for the reservation. Gentleman printed out documentation and continued to go back and forth in the back. Once he handed me the keys and paperwork was done, I left the location at 6:56pm. When speaking and going over the contract with the store individual, he told me I had until 7pm to return the truck the next day and there would be no additional fees unless gas was not filled and/or additional mileage was used. When I pulled into the lot the next day at 6:33 to return the truck I was met by a totally different man who told me to wait a moment and he would review the car. After waiting a few minutes he came to the truck and took a picture of the dashboard and I walked into the store. After getting into the store I had to wait for about another 15 minutes as he helped and additionally insulted the lady in front of me. When the man finally got to me, he was very rude to begin with and told me my card was declined? I was unsure why bc there should have only been maybe an addition $5 for mileage as my card was actually CHARGED the day before. He told me “No you owe a whole additional day.” I asked why, as I was told by him (pointing to the man who TOLD me I had until 7 since I hadn’t left the lot until after 6:45pm the day before) that I had until 7pm. And he continued to overtake me and be rude. He told me he didn’t care what was said and that I can’t after I should have and he was charging my card whether I agreed or not. I told him I would speak with Uhaul myself if my card was charged additional funds bc I was not wrong. Only to see that the store continued to run my debit card: $81.91 on 10/24 6:12pm $61.43 on 10/24 10:13pm $40.96 on 10/24 10:32pm $20.48 on 10/24 10:49pm Then to see it was charged again today for $32.89. I followed the time lines I was told to Follow and returned to the lot to return the truck within 24hours of when I pulled off the lot with the truck. This is unfair and the individuals renting the equipment out do not show good representation of Uhaul. I should not have to pay this amount and I have waiting to give time for it to settle itself only to see my cards charged again today. I have informed my family and friends as well as all social media platforms NOT to rent from Uhaul if this is the service provided. Please assist in this matter and no longer allow such rude, disrespectful, degrading men to have any affiliation to Uhaul
