Employee went out of her way to feel powerful by making me jump through multiple hoops, like have a major credit card which is not required. Also made me give them two points of contact and called one stating that people steel Uhaul vans. I'm someone that is on record using Uhaul frequently and have never had to do this in the past. There is a way to do things. The people want to play games with you at a stressful time to feel powerful is pathetic and overly intrusive. You have my debit card information and a deposit is placed. There isn't anything else that is needed to track a customer. People are angry at their own personal choices, so they give you a hard time to feel better about the dumb decisions they've made. The truck wasn't ready, the manager received it the previous day and didn't get it cleaned, the 2 employees there that morning didn't know what to do. She called the manager at least three times. I had reserved an appliance dolly but she failed to charge me for it so I had to wait for another twenty minutes to rent it. The young man didn't load the appliance dolly for me.IMELDA O.
I had to go to a diffenent location than requested for a pickup truck, which the new location was supposed to have. They did not have a pickup, so I had to rent a cargo van, which was not what I wanted. I had to drive approximately 18 extra miles because of the change in location. When I went to get in the vehicle, the tire icon was on. Both back tires had to be aired up quite a bit. The attendant only checked one tire and had to come back and check the others. The air pressure equipment was faulty. I arrived about 9:50 am and left about 10:25 am. When I returned the attendant had changed but did not want to provide a receipt before I left. He said he would email it to me. I did not like it, but I did leave. I would have preferred to see what I was going to be filled. This is totally unacceptable. It is a very inconvenient location, and I had to pay $2.40 a gallon for gasoline. I can see very little to nothing positive about this rental. I will never use this location again.LYNN H.

Reserved 6x12' enclosed trailer several weeks ahead for out of state move. Arrived at schd time. No trailer available. It was being utilized by someone else, who didn't intend to return it by close of business day. They tried to contact another facility but that facility would not answer phone. Very disappointed that this occurred. Got to rent a much smaller trailer which creates a return trip.keith A.

I told them I needed a trailer that was 6 foot wide to put an side by side in. The gave me a trailer that was 6 feet but gate of trailer only allowed 4 1/2 feet wide items in. I could not use it. I wasted my money and time. I ask for a refund and they said they not slllowed to give one.Dennis C.

We reserved a truck online, got a confirmation email, but when we got there to pick up the truck, they told us they didn't have one. The manager told us that a reservation doesn't actually mean that a truck will be available when you arrive. To which we said is exactly the opposite of making a reservation! He continued to tell us that this was how U-haul does things and he had no control over what happens when you reserve a truck online. Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating.TED S.
In addition to my moving van rental, I reserved a set of moving blankets and an appliance dolly on the uhaul website. The site guaranteed my reservation. However, when I picked up my van, this location said they were out of moving blankets and appliance dollies. This was extremely inconvenient, as the sole reason I rented the van was so I could move my washer & dryer to my new address. So, I had to run around Beaumont, looking for a store that rented appliance dollies, while on the clock for my uhaul van rental. None of the other uhaul locations in town answered their phones on that Saturday morning. It's okay if you don't have crucial moving supplies available, but please list this on the reservation website so I can plan in advance. Moving day was already stressful without the added hassle of finding a last-minute equipment rental. I lost some confidence in uhaul with this experience.Scott S.
The individual who rented us our van didn't explain anything to us about the truck, he was rude, dismissive, Kurt and didn't really care whether we were satisfied or not. What we ordered -appliance dolly and we were not informed that on wouldn't be there so we had to purchase one- wanting a refund for that, wasn't told we could or he could call another location to pick one up.. wiper blades need to be replaced- didn't work in rain sand snow storm we drove through from Amarillo to canon city Colorado. Charged for items we didn't purchase- $ 84.07 with tax. Gas was less than 1/8 tank not 1/4 and had to stop and get gas the minute we drove off the lot. Our pick up time was closing and charged for an entire day. When we call the 1-800 number the reps were helpful and we hope that All issues get resolved and we are refunded appropriately. I don't know if we will rent from Uhaul again even if it's the most affordable. Extremely DISSATISFIEDMeghan B.

We wre just a couple hours late dropping truck off cause we were on phone with u haul for almost an hour trying to get information on drop off and app. Then a wreck so made us late. Should take all that into consideration before charging another day. We wiped everything down and swept so truck looked better than the way we picked it upSCOTTY T.
